KITCHEN AND DEN RENOVATION AND ADDITION A rustic yet elegant kitchen that could handle the comings and goings of three boys as well as the preparation of their mom's gourmet meals for them, was a must for this family. Previously, the family wanted to spend time together eating, talking and doing homework, but their home did not have the space for all of them to gather at the same time. The addition to the home was done with architectural details that tied in with the decor of the existing home and flowed in such a way that the addition seems to have been part of the original structure. Petite spaces are a great way to use luxurious materials and go for over-the-top style--a powder room should always be a surprise for guests. We painted the walls in bold stripes to visually “widen” the space, and papered the ceiling with an elegant silver leaf. The laser-cut drapery fabric becomes sculpture and adds dimension to the room. This kitchen features Venetian Gold Granite Counter tops, White Linen glazed custom cabinetry on the parameter and Gunstock stain on the island, the vent hood and around the stove. The Flooring is American Walnut in varying sizes. There is a natural stacked stone on as the backsplash under the hood with a travertine subway tile acting as the backsplash under the cabinetry. Two tones of wall paint were used in the kitchen. Oyster bar is found as well as Morning Fog.

This lovely traditional sytle pool features large format porcelain, high-gloss tile, and a mix of off-set 1x1 glass tile, three cast stone water woks, artificial turf with natual stone stepper inlays, a custom patio cover with outdoor living and kitchen with bar, a full perimeter overflow hot tub, tanning shelf, natural stone paver decking. A traditional landscape package completes this lovely space!

Our Princeton architects designed a new porch for this older home creating space for relaxing and entertaining outdoors. New siding and windows upgraded the overall exterior look.

The combination den-office is a cozy place to take care of business, play a game of chess, read or chat. Though the overall home is transitional, this space leans more toward the traditional, anchored by the client's ornately carved desk.

This transformed traditional bedroom is what our client has always dreamed of. Custom bedding and drapery captivated the overall scheme. The poster bed adds a refined interpretation of nineteenth century style with carved mahogany to match the owner's dresser.
