Sarah also met us countless times at various suppliers so that we could carefully select our materials. Her build crew is talented and very hard working. They started at 7:30am and worked for 7-8 hours/day, sweltering hot conditions or not. We really appreciated the undivided attention and the integrity and all-around work ethic displayed by Sarah and her crew. You will also find Sarah to be very transparent. Her billing system is the most logical and straight forward approach I have experienced in the home service industry. The invoice is directly tied to our contracted line items whereby charges reflect only percentages completed on a weekly basis. All change orders were at my request, and were only represented in the invoice if we agreed to it prior. There were no hidden costs or surprises. So, aside from my change orders, the project cost aligned with the signed contracted budget. Sarah created a gorgeous garden space that is everything we ever dreamed of and much more. “Our experience working with Joe and his crew has been wonderful from design to installation. Joe met with us, took our initial idea and created a yard that captures the modern aesthetic of our Eichler home. Without him, small but important details would have been missed like pebble strips in the driveway, the honed cement block walls, and the simple cut out for the front fountain. Each is a small or simple item, but those details help make the project. We loved the front yard plan so much, we also had him do our backyard. And it is just as spectacular. People drive by our house and stop to look at the yard. Joe made sure all our concerns were addressed from drainage to the color of flowers. We gave him our budget and he stayed within it while providing a phenomenal project. His construction crew were also great to work with. They showed up on time, they left the site clean each day and kept us up to date on any changes or delays. Joe was at the site often to make sure we were happy with the progress, the plants, the layout, etc. When we did make some changes in the design Joe made the changes quickly, easily and perfectly. “2016- completed backyard remodel. Love it. In addition to the great planting plan redid some of the hard scrape, added in built in benches and increased the usage. It's now a weekend staycation. 2013-Just completed my new front garden and I love it! Jeannie was super easy to work with. Her team was efficient, super clean and mindful. We tore everything out. It's all native CA plants with low watering needs. Nice variety of plants with great color. Design process went well was given three different options to choose from. Definitely would recommend.”
