“Butler Landscapes completed a landscape project (building a terraced area, pathways and driveways, two raised beds as well as a small amount of planting) in our suburban garden in the summer of 2016. We had plans for a garden design drawn up before meeting Sharon and Paul - but these needed modifying in order to keep the project within the budget. Paul was very helpful in suggesting the elements of re-design that would keep the price down to what we could afford, and having giving us a price he stuck to it for the entirety of the work - no hidden extras, no last minute requests for extra money. Compared to past experiences it was an absolute joy! I felt that both Sharon and Paul listened to what we wanted, and didn't try and persuade us to have a design or style that we were not comfortable with, but did suggest modifications that would improve on the the practicalities or look of the design - and we were very happy with these suggestions. The work itself was completed to a very high standard, the men working on the project worked hard and felt trustworthy, which was important to me as I was out at work for much of the time. The work did take longer to complete than initially anticipated, but this was largely due to the weather - which was not under Butler Landscapes' control. Paul ensured that all the loose ends were tied up before he asked for the final payment, coming back to the site a couple of times to ensure that all the last bits and pieces of work were finished. We are delighted with the end result and looking forward to enjoying it properly after the winter.”

Her plant knowledge and associated design talent are clearly evident in the finished product. We are looking forward to enjoying the space as it develops and matures over the next few years. “I loved Fiona's design in a friend's garden, so asked for her details. I have used Green Tree Garden Design since then (Jan 2013), both for specific design projects, and the ongoing maintenance of my garden. Fiona is warm, friendly and professional, and immediately put me at ease. She designed my front garden first. She listened carefully and spent a lot of time with me, walking round the garden and sitting at the kitchen garden with sketches and photographs of plants, to make sure she got things right. I liked the fact that she worked with my existing garden, rather than removing everything and starting again, as some other companies had suggested. She also planted the garden up in stages, and consulted me on adding more planting, so I felt the garden evolved over time, which was just what I wanted. Fiona has now prepared a beautiful design for my back garden - again working with what is already there - and work will start on that in February 2014. Fiona works closely with a team of three highly skilled, friendly gardeners, who really "know their stuff". She can also be seen working alongside them in the garden sometimes, as well as doing the design work. I couldn't recommend Green Tree Garden Design more highly.”

“We are so happy with our new garden. From design, through to the final touches everything was just as we wanted, in fact better than we could have imagined. The designs are a work of art that we plan on framing, the attention to detail really paid off and Jane was able to accommodate our last minute changes whilst complimenting the overall design. Our dark and gloomy 70's style crazy paved front garden is now like something you would see in front of a modern show home. Thank you!”

“Stuart took our garden from nothing literally to the beautiful garden it is today . Designed from scratch and planted from scratch . Our garden is now an oasis for lots of different species of birds , bees , butterfly etc . The clever planting that Stuart has done means we have colour in our garden all year round . The garden changes week on week with different plants in flower . Stuart has looked after our garden (s) for over 6 years now and continues to do an excellent job . Can highly recommend him and his business .”

“Ben and the team redesigned my mum's rear garden to make it granny proof and a pleasure to look at as it was a jungle before. It is stunning and i felt excellent value for money as Ben found different materials to keep costs down but look great at the same time. They also sent a team back to jet wash drive you wouldn't know theve been there. Would i use them again?without a doubt.”

“Lee knows his stuff and is very professional, reliable and friendly. He really is the ideal person to work with you to help make a start on any garden redesign whether that be big or small. I only wish I had known about him years ago before wasting time and money buying the wrong plants and coming up with silly ideas that just didn't work in the long run. He is very passionate about what he does and has a lot of knowledge. We can't recommend Lee highly enough if you want to improve your outdoor space. Abit of inspiration and professional advice can make all the difference.”

“We contacted Anita to help us with the redesign of our garden, which was a mix of really mature planting and some really dilapidated areas that we couldn’t use following some building work. We were looking for a designer who would be able to help us reimagine the space and create a family-friendly but stylish garden, without wasting the good bits already in place. We felt quite daunted due to the size of the garden and didn’t know where to begin. Enter Anita. She really “got” the great existing elements of the garden and was fantastic at working with those while helping us create new zones of the garden. Throughout the design she was easy to contact, receptive to feedback and did what she promised, when she said she would. We loved the design and planting plan she came up with - it was mindful of our budget and considered everything we’d given in the brief. Anita also comes with a great network; we used a contractor for the job who she recommended. They did superb job, so the whole process was a pleasure. Our garden is only a couple of months in, but despite being winter it is a far more enjoyable space to use and look at! Without her, we would probably still be staring at a pile of rubble and bricks and wondering where to begin! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her for any garden design job, no matter what size.”
