“Mike worked with us to refinish our downstairs floors. We decided to replace some tile and carpet with hardwood in several rooms. Mike was incredibly professional, patient and calm in helping us understand the process and make decisions. Mike went out of his way to show us many color combinations so we would be comfortable with our final decision. Mike was available to respond to many inquiries throughout each step. He is very kind, personable and his employees did excellent and fast work. We found his rates were very reasonable. We highly recommend Floors by VAL and hope to work with Mike again in the future!”

“They had a large selection and Oscar was very helpful when we were deciding what to get. It took us awhile to decide and get the space ready and he was patient with us. The floors are really beautiful (Preverco red oak), although they dent easier than we expected. I have been told that hard wood isn't as hard as it used to be, so I don't think we got a bad product. Their pricing was good too.”

“I work in Chelsea and have often passed Aronson’s floor covering. I’ve browsed inside several times and found the staff to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. When my girlfriend and I decided to redo our apartment in Park Slope I talked her into going into Manhattan and visiting with the folks in the showroom. They opened us up to new and great ideas. We were happy with their design suggestions, and the options they had to offer. We’ve never considered cork flooring but once we found the choice of custom stains they offer, easy maintenance, and that it’s a natural product and sustainable our decision was easy. From the minute I stepped into the store, I was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeble staff that went out of their way to get me exactly what I wanted. The depth of knowledge that Diane has about the different types of flooring is astounding. She helped me weigh my options and choose the materials that were best suited for my needs. The estimator came to my house, was in and out quickly and was able to make suggestions to make the installation as simple as possible. The installers were prompt and professional and I am so trilled with my new floors. They are showstopping and I cannot wait to come back when I am ready to renovate my bathroom.”

“I moved into a co-op and didn't realize how much of a hassle it is to get ANYTHING done. But Freddy of NOVART was a huge help! After we agreed on what I wanted renovated in the apartment (fully renovate the kitchen and bathroom), he took over, gave me suggestions and made sure everything was up to the standard requested by the co-op management. He even was patient enough to work with the electrician and plumber that the co-op management made me hire since it was who "they" trusted.. he had to teach them what to do... The work was done quickly and professionally and even when I changed my mind during renovation, he never hesitated to work with me and gave me feedback on what we should and shouldn't do. The work was finished quickly even in the midst of the pandemic and overall I am very satisfied with the work done. No complaints and even though he offered that he'd come and fix anything that I'm not satisfied with, I haven't had the need to call him since everything was done well.”
