“An exceptional, personal service that I would highly recommend! Rebecca designed my kitchen. She asked me questions about what was important to me. She looked at zones and areas of use and made sure there was plenty of storage. She helped me visualise and bring ideas to life. Small touches and recommendations made all the difference. She didn't mind if I changed my mind, she embraced it and went with it, nothing seemed too much trouble and I always felt that my needs and wants were at the core of everything she did.”

“I enlisted the services of Whitemore & Thwaytes to refurbish my holiday cottage in the North Pennines. Louie and the team were professional throughout the entire process, suggesting new colour schemes, and furnishings to really bring the cottage up to date whilst maintaining its warm cosy charm. I felt confident leaving a lot of the work to them, and they had the contacts to get the job done quickly in a co-ordinated way. Especially helped me out as I live 3 hours away, and co-ordinating a project like this from that distance would have been very difficult. Really pleased with the outcome and would definitely recommend. Thank you Louie, Maureen and the team at Whitemore & Thwaytes!”

“Karolina has worked on my new two bedroom rental property, the project consisted of interior design and home staging services. Karolina’s flexibility and fast approach to our constantly changing project deadlines was top notch. Every plan and shopping list was prepared with great detail and our contractors could easily follow each of her designs. The interior design was done remotely, however once furniture was delivered and new paint was applied, Karolina worked on the next phase - home staging. Her dressing skills were fantastic and I enjoyed every minute of it, especially our shopping trip together where I could appreciate her knowledge of how to combine colour, pattern and texture. Overall, I have not only gained a beautifully designed space (which rented out after the first viewing), but I have also gained invaluable knowledge of aspects of interior design and some excellent tips towards creating an eye catching living space. I highly recommend Karolina to any potential clients.”

“We were so impressed with Litterarty's services. My husband and I moved into a Terraced house about a year ago and wanted to invest in it looking good, but didn't know where to start. We knew what looked good in pictures but would have struggled to put the "look" together ourselves. If it was left to us everything would be silver and blue, and look pretty bland! Plus we are very indecisive so I know it would have taken us forever to finish a room! The How to Home service worked perfectly for us. By providing mood boards and pictures we liked, it ensured that we got a look that felt "us". The shopping list was brilliant as it just meant that we knew exactly what to buy (no guesswork) and the way I saw it was that we were saving money in the long run by avoiding buying that "table" that really didn't match or go with the rest of the room. I think we were offered one round of adjustments for each room but to be honest Ruth got it spot on first time around for every room. Wholeheartedly recommend this service as an accessible means of giving your home the interior designer touch!”

“It has been an absolute pleasure and journey working with Elina on the renovation of our 1930's property on the road down to the beach at Bamburgh. It was a fantastic location and good house but it was tired. It needed restored and updated to make it into the wonderful seaside retreat it is today. Decodence have been a wonderful company to work with - always attentive, knowledgable, full of ideas (both sensible and creative), and it was a genuine relationship of discovery and design as we worked out what was best for the house and us. We now have a beautiful, practical and wonderful home!”
