This wine closet is unassuming from the outside, but it is anything but boring within! This homeowner wanted to display his best bottles in a big way. Poplar with a dark custom stain was utilized to create the sleek and modern look, even though these wine racks are made of wood. White walls behind and a clean and natural wood floor make the wine racks really pop. Beginning at the top of the wine room, individual wine bottle storage sweeps across for bottles needing that extra aging time, not to be touched for years. Directly below sits multiple layers of space for high reveal angled display. Wine bottles are angled visibility as well as maintaining wet corks for proper storage. Mixed in here are coved trays for large format wine bottle display. These coved trays are designed and built for featuring large wine bottles horizontally. Having these adds to a unique and eye catching layout, keeping the wine cellar looking clean and interesting. Directly underneath lies another section for individual bottle storage, as well as room to store original wood cases. Medium sized wine cellar for a private home in Loxwood, UK. The room is filled with a combination of 300mm deep storage cubes and additional storage shelves due to the size restrictions of the room. The work top allows for additional storage on top, if and when required. All of the racking supplied is made of natural pine and the wine room can store over 480 bottles in total.

A remodel of the existing basement layout allowed for a separate media room and gave us the opportunity to create this neat little wine room under the stairs. Working with a local metal fabricator, we created custom wine holders to match the modern aesthetic of the home, turning an under-utilized space into a focal point of the home.

Optimus Painting prepared the walls and applied the base coats and Iris Lee Marcus faux-finished the walls to create a traditional limestone pattern effect.

This wine room is decorated with fully stocked wine racks, cozy fireplace, comfy seating, and a central table so that the homeowners can not only enjoy their wine collection but also invite friends around for tasting sessions. First & second floor windows to the right of the fireplace were blacked out on the inside to create a space for the new wine cabinets. Room definition was created by adding 14" drop beam to the ceiling and trimmed to match the homes current trim throughout the house. False beams were added to the ceiling along with recessed rope lighting. The original lighting was rearranged and the custom chilled wine cabinets and fireplace mantel were installed. This glass front wine cellar / glass wine cellar in Solana Beach, San Diego, California, is a perfect example of turning that under-utilized closet or niche space. Located directly off of the dining room, this modern wine cellar blends style and utility, incorporating features such as triple deep wine racking with glass, stone, wood, and stainless steel. A contemporary look melding perfectly with this more traditional style home. Design Build team at Vintage Cellars was also commissioned to create a unique and stylish wooden backing, to ensure that the metal wine pegs really popped. Custom walnut stain was placed on Alder wood paneling, custom fit with metal wine rack pegs from floor to ceiling. We worked directly with Noe Design Co to create a one of a kind entrance into this cellar. The highest quality stainless steel framing and double pane thermally insulated glass were placed on the front wall to not only maintain a beautiful look, but to also ensure that this wine room kept a perfect 55 degree temperature with constant relative humidity. Custom walnut stain was placed on Alder wood paneling, custom fit with metal wine rack pegs from floor to ceiling. We worked directly with Noe Design Co to create a one of a kind entrance into this cellar. The highest quality stainless steel framing and double pane thermally insulated glass were placed on the front wall to not only maintain a beautiful look, but to also ensure that this wine room kept a perfect 55 degree temperature with constant relative humidity.
