“I do love my birdhouse! A Christmas gift-the original one got a crack in transit. Beth promptly sent out a replacement. Rare to find, personal service and pride taken over these really special birdhouses. The copper top is gleaming and catches the sun throughout the day. It is my pride and joy and so many people comment on it-brings life and a touch of England to my garden! I did lots of investigating and would highly recommend The Birdhouse Chick. I ended up getting the bigger one as it's in the distance. Happy that I did as it's the perfect size.”

“This was a very complex job. It involved removal of a failed cinder block retaining wall, discarding debris, leveling very uneven property to make a useful hard scape area and the addition of a second retaining wall. The owner, Butch Kilgore came to our home and worked up an estimate and gave a projected start date and finish time frame. They began with the removal of the faulty retaining wall which was approximately 23 feet long and 8 feet tall. Sixteen tons of gravel and clean fill dirt were added to the back yard to support the infrastructure of the second retaining wall 90 feet long and 6 feet tall. All of the downspouts were reengineered to ensure that water collection was satisfactory to eliminate land erosion. Again, plenty of gravel and drainage were added to the retaining walls to accomplish the same. Overall, working with Grass Source, Inc. was just a fantastic experience. They are a very responsive and caring company. As an over the top extra, 70 bales of pine straw were added to our landscaping to improve the look. At the end of this project, we were about 10% over budget but again this was a very complex job we had trees removed, arborvitae's added as well as 15 plants in a decorative pattern. The back wall included nine steps to the lower portion of our backyard as well as two steps to the side of our house. We took photos of the day to day progress from beginning to end and compiled them all into a video that we share with anyone interested to watch the transformation.”

“We contracted with Pike's Nursery to design & install landscaping.. We had issues with the design and building of paths & retaining wall. Pike worked with us and we were able to come to an agreement. The work ended up being done in a professional manner. We were happy with the end product.”

“We had done a backyard makeover last fall and the only thing missing to complete it was plants! We headed down to Twin Branch Nursery for some guidance. A gentleman listened to our needs and desires very carefully then took us around the whole yard to make recommendations for ever spot that needed a plant. We were not familiar with everything shown to us so he wrote it all down so we could research it and make sure we liked its blooms(not everything was blooming at the time we were there). We ended up getting everything he recommended. It is now all installed. Our backyard is an oasis to us. Friends and family tell us it looks like a park.”
