“I hired Fix It People to replace some cabinets and they did a fantastic job. While chatting with the general manager, I happened to mention I was listing for sale in the near future and needed to spruce up a few things beforehand. They made a few recommendations for additional alterations. I looked into some other contractors, found Fix It People's price to be extremely competitive and moved forward with a light remodel of the bathroom and living room. They were professional, completed the work in timely fashion and worked some magic in a few outdated areas. I could not be happier and will be using them again to paint our new home.”

“I have been using Jacek and his team for about 15 years.. They do an outstanding job and I would never consider using anyone else. Jacek is a master craftsman and his work is excellent. I have used him for both outside and inside work. He is efficient and very tidy. I never have a mess to clean up when Jacek is finished with a project. Jacek does old world restoration with plaster and wood. My home was built in 1896 and Jacek has repaired both wood and plaster from that era. His last project for me was panting the outside in June 2015.”

“Ron came right out the day I called to give me an estimate for some siding repair, exterior and interior painting and carpentry work. I felt his estimate was fair. It took several weeks for his crews to come out due to weather and I know they were very busy. When the carpenters and painters finally finished, it was beautiful. My wife and I were very pleased with the work and workmanship.”

“I needed a professional house painter for our home in Brookfield, IL and our interior designer recommend Artisons Painting and Remodeling. We checked their reviews online and asked for a free estimate. They were very knowledgable and went over all our options. We were confident with their references and hired them. They used Benjamin Moore and repaired our plaster walls, did a Mediterranean plaster trowel finish in our living room and a faux finish over it and painted all of our walls on the first and second floors. We were so happy with their work the next year we had them remodel our kitchen and bathroom. They also gutted the basement from.our flooding and finished our basement with three bedrooms and cleaned all of the mold. The owner Joseph was very honest and dedicated to his business.”

Diana helped me determine where to hang original artwork and other pictures on the walls in multiple rooms in my home. Her eye for design, color selection and placement of the artwork were exceptional. This is not my strength and I needed her assistance to make the most out of the pieces I have. Her husband helped to hang the artwork with precision and care. They made for a fun, efficient team because they bring different strengths to the job at hand. Diana helped me make the house feel like a home. She is warm and knowledgeable and will give you direct answers to your questions. She also offered recommendations for other design-related questions/needs. I highly recommend Diana (and her husband if he comes along, too :-)).”

“We recently bought our home in Niles which needed some work. We then found out that my parents were planning to fly in and visit for Christmas. A neighbor referred us to CHJ Painting. Chris and his crew were able to paint our upstairs and make repairs in the kitchen and bathrooms and make our house beautiful for the holiday with very short notice. “I hired Manion Decorating to paint a couple of rooms, wallpaper a powder room and apply a decorative paint application to the main bath. Bob did a very good job and he also took care of mistakes that were done by a previous painter. He was meticulous, both as a painter and with the wallpaper. He was always right on time and very polite. I highly recommend him!”
