“Best awnings ever. Thanks RA!! So I hardly ever write reviews – it’s just not really my thing but I felt really compelled to write one for RA Awnings because they just did a bang-up job. You know how it is when people are super professional but also kind of friendly too, well yeah, those guys are like that. Me and my wife decided that we really wanted a retractable awning for our patio so we could spend more time outside without getting burned to a crisp. We chose RA Ultra Luxe in the end (even though the other options were nice too) and man, we couldn't be any happier! The awning just looks awesome and is kind of high tech too with angle changes for optimal shade and fancy LED lights for evenings. Super cool. The team that came to install were great. Showed up on time, didn't leave a mess and just really professional. And the awning itself? What a game changer! No exaggeration, our patio just feels more comfortable and looks great too. We’ve actually started spending more time outside and our friends have given us some really nice compliments. For a luxury buy the awning offers value for money when you consider the durability and peace of mind that comes with the 5 year guarantee. Anyway, that's the end of my rant haha. Just wanted to say a big shout out to the RA team. You guys did a solid job and we love our new awning. Highly recommend these folks if you’re needing something like this. “This was my first ever time commissioning curtains in my first ever house, and I can absolutely say that Sonia Whiteman made the experience a pleasure. I knew nothing about fabrics, linings interlinings, pleats, returns... Sonia talked me through all the options. She measured not once, not twice, but three times, and held my hand through everything, including putting up poles, return hooks and hold-backs. I really can't recommend her highly enough, she is an extremely skilled and careful seamstress, and a lovely person to deal with.”

“Friendly and enthusiastic service in the shop by a lady called Sarah. She had an extensive knowledge on absolutely everything you'd want to know, spoken in a language you can fully understand. I wouldn't go anywhere else for blinds. Honest about prices and when fitted, the warmest man called Anthony sent around who worked efficiently and put a smile on our faces. Really pleased with our blinds and couldn't recommend Aspect any more!”

To have them expertly measured, ordered and fitted took a lot of the stress out of our purchase. “Suzy Newton Ltd, is a very professional company with an excellent customer service. we bought several cushions which were all hand made to a very a high quality craftsmanship. we have also been provided for every cushion we ordered various samples of fabric to chose from and to perfect the look of our cushions. the production was fast as well as the delivery. Suzy Newton also checked we received the cushion once sent and all to make sure we were happy with all of the cushions. Outstanding.”

“I hired Simon of ShutterCraft Somerset Ltd to install new Bermuda Silk White shutters with beautiful wide 89mm louvers in two of our bedrooms. The product is high quality and looks fantastic against our dark aluminium windows. Rods we chosen are off centre allowing uninterrupted view through the window. They give privacy and style to the rooms and we were complemented by the neighbours how good they look on the outside. Simon and his team were friendly, professional and attentive to any requests we had during the installation. Due to the age of the property (1935) and a few wonky walls, it was a challenge that they met with patience, personal advice and good spirt. Thank you so much! “These are Roman blinds at their very best! Great attention to detail and hand sewn where possible, even the velcro at the heading! I have had two or three dozen blinds made by Calico Blinds and they have all been perfect. It is a great help having them already fixed to the heading track which is supplied with the blind. Delivery is usually within 3 weeks and they come very well packed delivered by a courier.”

The linen curtains she has made for us are absolutely lovely, the blinds she has supplied have been great. I always love visiting the shop in Bruton for a chat and to seek inspiration from her stock of well chosen fabric samples.”
