“It was great working with Zack Ilinetsky and his team. They were professional, communicative, and respectful. They kept the project going and were amazingly on time (5 weeks) to finish the project. There were so many moving parts that Zack kept track of and was on top of, so no delays. All of the inspections were passed with flying colors. He kept the costs down as much as possible, always checking in on how to do things without unnecessarily increasing costs, though he certainly didn't cut corners. He was very thorough and made sure we all were happy with the results. We were very impressed with his work and look forward to using Green Bay Remodeling again for future work on our home.”

His work, and that of his excellent crews, is of the highest quality and the experience of working with Frank is always a delight. Designers always worry about their projects but I never worry about a project if Frank is the builder. He is, at all times, organized, proactive, honest, dependable, trustworthy and smart. He has carefully trained his crews and they are some of the best craftsmen (and people) I've had the pleasure to work with in my career. Frank has the breadth of knowledge and experience to assess a job, trouble-shoot any potential issues in advance, fairly price and prepare spreadsheets on both costs and schedule, and manage all aspects of the project effortlessly (or at least it seems that way!). “My experiences with Jason McClure have all been extremely positive! He is a true professional and a great person to work with. He has done projects in my parents former home that my niece and her family now live in. He did several projects on site. Electrical, plumbing, insulation, lighting, roofing, painting, tile work, bridge repair and other jobs as requested. He has some wonderful ideas, but always listened to what was wanted and offered his expert advice on what would work best. Jason has done projects for me for the past 3 to 4 years. Jason also did some landscaping work at my home as well as a covered area on an existing arbor. He and his family are wonderful and always will have a positive review from me!! “We purchased a mid-century ranch home and needed Character Builders to remodel two bathrooms, relocate laundry from a utility room off the kitchen to the back area of one of the bathrooms, oversee refinishing wood floors throughout, install new molding on all doors and windows, texture all walls, and supervise complete painting of the whole interior, all with a 7-week deadline so we could move in before the lease ran out on our apartment! The master bathroom design began with a difficult footprint - a long narrow room with no water closet and closet space behind louvered doors along one wall. The remodel of that room was fabulous. Keith delivered everything we wanted in the 'whole house remodel' despite the time crunch we imposed. He would let me know the decisions and selections needed for the next step of the remodel with plenty of time for me to give him my answer. His subcontractors did great work. Keith encountered many things that were unexpected in remodeling a home more than 60 years old; he would have two or three solutions that he would present to us, and would let us choose. I appreciated his collaboration with us most of all.”
