“We've had 3 significant home addition / remodeling projects, all of which were managed by a contractor. Our most recent, the stone porch project, was far and away the best experience we've had. In a project's hindsight there are always a few things you reflect back on. Quality of work - Everything they did on this project was done with care and attention to detail. We've not found anything in the months since the project was completed that we'd change. Interactions with Contractor, their employees and their subs - I genuinely looked forward to the guys showing up every day. “Green Trade Contracting did a total rennovation of the main downstairs bathroom in our 1901 home. Keeping with the historical period was important to us as was using state of the art water saving technology. Steve Green, the owner, recommended removal of all of the knob and tube electrical replacing it with 21st century technology. He also thought it best to remove all the plaster and lathe instead of trying to repair it and replaced it with drywall etc. It was because of a leak we discovered in the walls that we decided to proceed with the rennovation, it was not totally done just for aesthetics, but they were an important aspect of the job. We had the project done when we were out of town on vacation with no worries or issues of trust. We came home to a completely renovated and beautifl new bathroom that looks as if it was preserved from back when the bathroom was first installed.”

“The bathroom remodel project was a collaborative effort involving Jeremy Littel of Revive Urban and my wife and me. We designed the remodel, and selected and purchased most of the materials with the review and guidance of Jeremy. Jeremy was always responsive and communicative, and it was clear that he was very intent on making us satisfied customers. We were quite fussy about the installation of all the various components and Jeremy certainly met our expectations. The project included new floor tile, medicine cabinets inserted into the wall with surrounding deco tile, custom floating vanity with quartz top, new toilet with Toto seat and an enlarged and rebuilt shower with shelving inserted into the wall, frameless glass shower doors, completely retiled walls, ceiling and floor, a vertical deco wall and ceiling stripe and an all new shower control system with diverter and wand. New paint as well of course. The estimate for his services was on target. Total project cost was about $20,000 Overall, things went great. We were flexible relative to time of completion as we wanted to make sure there was adequate time for workmanship of the highest quality. Start date was on time. There was daily communication and review. A few things caused some initial installation difficulty, such as hooking up the toilet seat and water feed system and the lighting system, but were immediately resolved. We are extremely pleased with the results and will use Jeremy again when we redo our kitchen.”
