“I would highly recommend Jack and his team to anyone! And already have! Our neighbors recommended him to us after their bathroom reno and our other neighbors will be using him in the fall for theirs. He’s the best! We renovated 2.5 bathrooms this spring with Jack. His quote came in where we were hoping which was great. But more importantly for us was the quality of the work and ease of working with him and his team. Jack is very responsive, timely, and always follow through, which we have learned is difficult to find. Whenever I got stressed, Jack always remained calm and addressed any concerns right away. Truly Jack and his team were a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to use them again for any future projects! (See pics of Northern Liberties bathrooms for our reno)”

They delivered on everything I wanted, and for the few times I didn't know exactly where I wanted to go, the team was helpful in providing suggestions and sharing past experience to assist in guiding me there. “Kristen and her workers Leo and Marvin are excellent to work with. Her subs are also extremely good, especially her tile people as they are true craftsman. We researched and interviewed several contractors before selecting Jill of All Trades. The great thing about Kristen is she loves her job and wants to make sure you are totally satisfied, and with me that is no small task. She is anal and OCD and more picky than you will likely be assuring you will wind up with a deliverable that you will be happy with. What impressed me the most was her willingness to collaborate on some tough decisions and being open to suggestions. Some of her prices may seem a tad higher than her competition, but that is because she goes above and beyond to make sure she delivers top quality. She does not nickel and dime you and actually did far more than she should have in some areas to make sure we would be satisfied with everything. We total gut and remodel of kitchen, and 2 a 1/2 bathrooms as well as stair railing and painting. At least 2/3 of our home was renovated and you could not ask for a better finished product without paying a high end custom home builder to build things to your exact specifications. I have no regrets about using her and will use her for future projects and recommend you look no further and call her for your project!”

“I've just completed a fairly large renovation and addition onto my 2-1 bungalow in Decatur. Choosing Penn Carpentry was the best decision I could have made. While all of my friends had nightmare stories to share about their renovation experiences, I had the complete opposite experience. Our project came in on budget and on schedule, with no drama!! Greg's subs are skilled and have a long working relationship with the company. The coordination of the sub scheduling was amazingly efficient. My bank that handled the construction loan was incredibly impressed by Greg & Carol's detailed bookkeeping and spot-on reporting to support all the construction loans draws. The end result was gorgeous and beyond what I could have imagined it to be. Greg was great at communicating his schedule with me, especially when it came to choosing my allowances. I recommend Penn Carpentry without hesitation for any-sized home renovation project.”
