“From our first meeting with ‘the Nicks’ we were immediately struck with their enthusiasm and insight into our project. We were impressed with the time and dedication they showed in producing a very well laid out and costed specification based on our initial plan. They are very particular paying careful attention to detail and have built up an excellent team of skilled contractors who all worked to an extremely high standard. They managed to work around us, whilst we continued living in the property, ensuring that we had basic services available at all times - much appreciated in the winter months. During the build Nick Turner was onsite to supervise, and otherwise, was quick to respond to email and texts and kept us informed of any delay or snags. Nick Crick (Customisation King) proposed practical solutions to any problems that arose and they were both particular in leaving the site immaculate at the end of the project. They proved flexible and always listened to our requirements producing a superb end result. Not only she brought a unique and expert angle on how to optimise the space but was very considerate and took on board the things we felt strongly about. She went above and beyond to get the project done right for us and I could not be any more grateful. The end result is stunning and was all done on a very high quality and in a very good time frame. “HM Construction built our contemporary, eco friendly home. The build straddled one of the wettest winters on record and the 2020 Covid 19 lock down. Despite this they delivered our home from start to finish within 12 months which was an incredible performance. One of our neighbours who is a builder himself said he had never seen such a professional, hard working team. Phil and Lee, the owners of HM are a delight to work with. They have significant experience is specifying and managing jobs and present very realistic timetables and fair budgets. They also do not inflate prices for extras but work within the spirit of the contract. They keep you well informed throughout the process. Their team, which is a mixture of direct employees and sub-contractors are all delightful. They were very fair with the snagging - and were flexible in working around our plans. I have no hesitation at all about highly recommending HM for any bespoke construction work. The whole experience from start to end was an absolute pleasure.”

“To Rebuild exterior boundary Wall after checking foundations were fine. The Wall had columns with Trellis attached. Good finishing work was done to the Wall. Reliable and always on time. Listened to our requirements and adhered to them. Clean and Tidy workers. Will use them again and also recommend to others.”
