“We engaged Creative Build Interior Design right after we started our new construction. We have been working with designer Melissa for kitchen design, color (exterior and interior) selection, vanity selection, light fixture, tile design/selection, hardware selection and etc. for the whole house. Melissa has provided very professional and valuable advice during the whole project and made our life much easier. She quickly helped us to find out our style (we often do not realize what we really like) and found something that fits our style and also in the right trend. We become more and more rely on Melissa's taste and advice. Melissa always stays on top of things and does things in the right order. She is very passionate about the work and often goes beyond the initial scope of the work to make sure that we get all the advise we need. The house turns out to be great and we reality love it! We received a lot of compliments from all the people who worked there and friends who stopped by. Everyone told me that they like the colors, kitchen, lights and everything. “I thought that finding an honest contractor who follows through with what they promise would be impossible but decided to take the chance with Essential and finally do my first renovation. “Tony was hired to be my General Contractor for the construction of my new home in Fairfield CT. I worked closely with Tony for over a year on this project. Tony was excellent. Tony not only ran and efficient and on time construction project but was also instrumental in giving my wife and I advice on what options we should consider as we looked at the various design elements. Tony brought his creative flair, practical design concepts and also meaningful ideas to help save both time and money. Since the project has completed Tony and I have become friends and we still talk weekly about odd jobs on the house or other enhancements that we are considering. In other words Tony not only goes above and beyond during the project but he will be around and available even after the project is all wrapped up. “We are completing a full house renovation and hope to be done in July of this year and so far, on schedule! Creative Design has done an amazing job with all of the details. My husband and I have asked many times to revise/change things along the way and the team has gone above and beyond to make it happen. Creative did our first renovation back in 1999 and we had no doubt that they would do a great job when we hired them again for the entire house. “We are totally happy with the results of our kitchen re-do by Berceli. We are in a NYC Classic 6 with a good-sized galley kitchen. We are that NYC rarity, in that we cook almost every night. We were perfectly content with the kitchen footprint, but it sadly needed an upgrade. The estimate we got from the project manager, Samir, was not cheap, but totally accurate. There were no surprises. The designer somehow managed to not only create a beautiful kitchen, but somehow got us a lot more storage in the same space...I still can't figure out how. Cindi helped us with the fine details as colors and backsplash, which added to the overall look. Were there glitches along the way? Of course there were, as you don't tear out a complete kitchen without having some problems. However, Berceli was immediately responsive, answering emails and calls very promptly if something didn't look right. i would hire them again without question.”

“My wife and I hired Kling Brothers Builders/Keith Kling to build an addition onto the back of our house, which included a new kitchen, family room, patio, mudroom, and other modifications to the interior. From the start, I was very impressed with Keith’s preparedness and diligence. He created a very detailed and transparent budget (approximately 10 pages), which outlined each item to be done and the price. More importantly, his estimate was accurate, and the prices that we agreed to did not change throughout the project. Keith is also very hands-on. He was on-site every day during the project. He is extremely responsive by email and phone, and if I emailed him a question while I was at work, within a very short period of time, I would receive a response. He was also available on weekends to meet with me, which was more convenient for my schedule. The workmanship of Kling Brothers Builders is top notch. Their on-staff carpenters are excellent, and their subcontractors are all superb. I did not have any issues with shoddy work or questionable characters walking around my property or in my house. Keith is very diligent about the “structure” and integrity of the building, and takes pride in how well built and solid the “bones” of the project are. Although I am not a builder myself, you can just tell that something is well put together by looking at it. Keith stresses quality and perfection, and was not satisfied until we were satisfied. He has access to some of the best craftsmen in the area, and in particular he introduced us to a custom cabinet maker who created a showcase kitchen for us. His other subs, such as the electrician, the plumber, etc., were all personable and flexible. All in all, we were very impressed and happy with Keith Kling. Although my wife and I are reasonable, we also have very high standards. Given the size of our project (to us), we expected top service and attention. Keith came through with flying colors, and he was very friendly, personable, and professional throughout. I have no tolerance for service providers who do not do what they say or make you feel as though you are doing them a favor by giving them your money. Keith is certainly not one of those people. Our project came in on budget, and any additional work that I wanted done was communicated and agreed-to up front. There were no surprises and the communication between Keith and us could not have been better. I give Kling Brothers Builders/Keith Kling my highest recommendation. I hope to use them again on a future project.”

“Steve and the team at Sterling Construction are awesome. We did a huge renovation that most homeowners would be hesitant to do without an architect. Steve has all the design and installation knowledge anyone could hope for. From demolition to finish carpentry, his teams are great. The work was neat, timely and above all done to the highest standards. Having Steve on the job everyday gave us the confidence and assurance that our project would be completed as contracted.
