“Work in progress but so far they have cleaned up after their day's work, on schedule with work. The work has not been completed yet so more to come when it is completed. Update: It's month 7 and while initially work went quickly, things slowed down by month 4. Still some minor fixes left. Have to revise my rosy initial review. Overall poor communication between the design specialist and the project manager.”

It was very difficult having to sell the house where we grew up and my parents lived for 51 years till they passed away. “Our experience with David Bauer Custom Homes was first class. They remodeled our kitchen and put on an addition to our home that included a sunroom with fireplace, an exercize room and a greatly enlarged master closet. Under the addition they put a basement which contains a man cave, a wine cellar and a lot of storage space. The company is professional and accommodating in its desire that the finished job be just what you want. Suggestions were made that enhanced the final outcome of our project. The detail of the workmanship is something we really enjoy in our home. We give this company a definite thumbs up!”

“We had been given Doug Maggard's name from a friend whom we trust greatly. From the beginning of the project to the end, Doug exhibited integrity, reliability, and creativity. I would tell him what I wanted and he would figure out a way to achieve it. I can't say enough about how he helped us take our 'ugly-kitchen-contest-winner' into a beautiful and stunning farmhouse kitchen. He also helped us build a gorgeous barn-beam mantel in the adjoining living room. We used reclaimed wood from an 1809 farmhouse to build a beam that separates the kitchen and living area. It's just amazing. We have done so much to decorate from the pictures I posted (had to meet the deadline). I feel like it belongs in a magazine. We are so proud and owe so much to Doug for helping us realize our dreams.”
