“The Healey Company are excellent contractors. They are dedicated to quality, completely transparent in their billing/process and are delightful to work with. Everyone from Michael Healey himself, through our project manager Christine and Jim, the foreman on the job were communicative, willing to answer questions and happy to listen to our ideas and concerns. I'm a designer and was very concerned about finding a contractor who would be as concerned about the details as I was and be willing to discuss options--they have absolutely been willing to do this. They've also been very understanding about our need to work within a budget and and more than willing to explore alternatives. And the sub-contractors that they work with have been equally as responsible and communicative. I can't recommend them highly enough and we will engage them for our next remodeling project!!”

“Marvista remodeled my 40 year old kitchen, replaced cabinets, counters, sinks, appliances, backsplash, and refinished the floor. Although the layout remained mostly the same, a few simple changes, designed by Marvista, created a cleaner line, more efficient use of space, and best of all, a designer look. I tend to get overwhelmed choosing designs and colors from the myriad options available. Marvista made all of that easy with their excellent guidance and good taste. The job took six weeks, the crew was professional, friendly, and pleasant to have in my home. I love my kitchen!”

“We worked closely with Bob Shelton and his team for a renovation of our outdoor space which included restructuring our deck, concrete work, outdoor lighting, and creating a modern privacy fence. He was one of the only contractors that we had met that was on time for every single appointment we had and he was always well prepared. After discussion of our ideas, he completely understood our style and our needs. He sent us a quote by the next day. He always kept us updated with the timeline and was available to us when we had questions and/or concerns. The carpenters on the job were courteous and professional and were able to answer our questions along the way. They also were on time everyday and worked extremely hard to complete. The work was completed on time and on budget for us. We love the way everything turned out and we can't recommend this company enough! We will definitely be working with Shelton in the future.”

There were several occasions that they went out of their way to make things go smoothly. We toured their factory facility and were impressed with the quality and workmanship of their product. “We engaged EngineHouse to design and build a shelving room-divider as the final phase of a kitchen remodel. The remodel removed the wall between the dining room and kitchen of a 1901 Victorian house and we wanted the divider to serve a dual purpose: 1. provide storage for plates/dishes and 2. create a bridge between the old and new aesthetics. We are designers ourselves so we wanted the shelves to look as if they 'belonged' to the house but we were open to the use of unusual, industrial materials. Aside from discussing number of shelves and the doorway openings, we pretty much gave them free reign and they didn't disappoint. Through every stage of the process, from concept through materials presentation and fabrication they were absolutely wonderful to work with. The estimate was accurate and we couldn't believe how meticulous they were in building the piece and looking after our house during the construction (which was brief and efficient). Everyone who comes into our home raves about the room divider. We couldn't be happier and will work with them again!”
