This held true during and after the construction process. The experience of building with Abernathy Custom Homes was 100 % positive. He did an extensive walkthrough and gave me an accurate quote. Gary's exceptional communication, transparency, and commitment to detail calmed my concerns (and my wife’s). His professionalism extended to staying within budget without compromising quality. He transformed it into an unrecognizably new space --- a beautiful, comfortable home. This site allows me to attach 6 photos, but there were many more details I could include. “Trey Robinson, Prime Construction, added a 700 sq ft addition to our existing 28 year old 2 story home. He added a master bedroom on the main level, a 6 fixture bathroom and a walk in closet over a full unfinished basement. The constitution included demolition of a side porch, repairs to the living and dining where the addition joined, and extensive grading and tree removal. The construction only took 4 months to complete and living in our existing home was not disruptive. All the subcontractors he used were professional, competent and respectful of us and our home. We are more than pleased with the process and the results, and it has made our home much more livable.”

They brought the vision to life with a beautifully made powder coated bar that I believe is made better than the one in the original picture. It is constructed so well. “My husband and I have bought and built several houses over our 27 years of marriage. We are not from Alabama, and we were very cautious buying this home. DanRic was very honest and fair with us. So far they have stood behind everything they told us. They also did a very detailed walkthrough with us. They put all of our questions at ease, answered every call we made after the closing, and made us feel comfortable. They even have a website for problems after the closing. They told us they want all of their customers to be happy because they always wanted their company to have a good reputation. It is rare to have such professionalism after the deal is closed.”

“Daniel Lichty was prompt his men were always on time very courteous and friendly. He was willing to listen to what I wanted and design it and build it on the spot. For instance I wanted a cabinet built for my bathroom to go between the sinks even though I had a mirror across the entire wall in front of the sinks. He built the cabinet and framed the mirror it looks like it was always there. I love it. He met the deadline and stayed on budget. I'm going to hire him next to redo my kitchen. I can't wait.”
