“We bought a new house and wanted a 2 storey extension on the side of the house and extending out the kitchen and lounge at the back of the house. A friend recommended Julian and in turn Julian recommended pretty much every type of contractor and professional we would need to complete our project. This was really helpful as sourcing a reputable architect, structural engineer, quantity surveyor and a team of specialists was a daunting task and not something we expected of Julian. One of the most reassuring parts of the planning phase is how Julian set our budget expectations. This became very apparent very quickly because the other people we initially approached at the same time as Julian pretty much told us what we wanted to hear, whereas Julian took a much more realistic approach. It was an easy choice to go ahead with Julian and we did not regret that decision. He managed all aspects of the project, start to finish and the results are exceptional. We have no hesitation in recommending Julian and JNR Construction.”

“Our project involved the conversion of a conservatory into a more habitable room with new foundations. a full glass-doored front and Velux windows. Milestone were courteous, prompt and carried out all their pre-planning and construction duties in a very professional and competent manner. They coordinated the work of several trades during the build and were always available to deal with any questions and issues we might have had. The work was completed to time and budget and we are delighted with the result.”

“Replacing old conservatory for new orangery......A company with the customer at heart. I am so pleased with my beautiful new orangery. From the initial visit right through to completion I was treated so well by everyone. I totally put my trust in the management team. Justin and Joel certainly went that extra mile or two or three....to ensure the design was exactly what I wanted.Simon is an outstanding project manager who kept me informed...and sane at every stage! His work ethos is second to none. Mark, Andy and Slav worked incredibly hard with impeccable standards which is certainly reflected in the finished project. I would highly recommend this team to carry out any building projects and I am reassured to know that if there are any problems in the future I can turn to them and they would gladly rectify. “We had been searching for a while for a company who would not just complete our project but keep us updated and communicate every step of the way, due to past experiences with tradesman who would keep us in the dark. Elliot, communicated with us every step of the way in a professional and friendly manner. Although our project was not massive in size, it was quite complex and needed lots of investigating which is where Josh came in who really helped us in saving parts of kitchen while modernising and replacing other parts.Overall if you are looking for a professional, modern construction company who care so much more than just completing the project as quick as possible and collecting their paycheck then Unity are the company, an incredible job and will definitely use Unity for the rest of our time in Sheffield!”

“James and Pat and the team built our two storey extension in 2015. They did a great job, on budget (always extra costs for unexpected work or changes to our ideas)! We were really pleased to have JP McDonagh do the work having approached half a dozen builders locally for quotes. The team were reliable and considerate (our 2nd child was born halfway through the build in true Grand Design's style!). They were on site every day they said they would be. It was good to have a single point of contact in James and the breakdown of quote and invoices meant we knew exactly where we were with the costs. There were minimal issues and the minor problems with sub contractors were all resolved through James or Pat which meant a hassle free build for us. They are clearly experienced and knowledgeable and were able to suggest different ways of doing things which made the outcome even better. Would use again and have recommended to others.”
