“After interviewing three builders, I contracted with Fine Home Building because of their proven track record of renovating older homes - my home is 114 years old. FHB did an outstanding job, executing a full renovation including new additions to the house to accommodate a redesigned and enlarged kitchen, new master bath, office and laundry room as well an s a new screen porch. As a side note, the entire backside of the kitchen opens to the screen porch through magnificent mahogany doors that FHB manufactured - they are a work of art. The extensive remodel/renovation was completed while my wife and I were living in Germany, meaning this project was completed with very little oversight from the owners. The highest praise I can give FHB’s owner, Tom Bierster, he is an honorable man, always standing by the quality of his work – and always good for his word. This single attribute led to the successful renovation of our new home. I recommend FHB without reservation.”

“Highland Residential helped us renovate and restore a 100 year old house in the Old Cloverdale section of Montgomery, AL. Mike was professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of the job. He utilized both traditional methods as well as new technology to produce a design/build plan and results that we were proud of. He guided us through demo and gutting a kitchen, moving walls and repairing a bathroom that was falling in. Mike is hands on with the job and while he utilizes a professional crew that he manages well, he also has the ability to jump in and produce results himself if needed. I would definitely give my highest recommendation to Highland Capital.”

“CC&D does a great job of being personable and particular to the job at hand. Never had a problem reaching Brennan if I had a question. CC&D is more of a boutique contractor and can give a lot of personal time and touch to the job. I highly recommend for any remodel job you have.”

“My wife and I chose Chason to build our house about 2 years ago. It was the first time we had ever built a house from "scratch" and were, naturally, nervous and excited! We both had heard "horror stories" from friends over the years about building / stress / cost over runs / etc. I have to say 1st - I hope I never move again! Because we love our house! 2nd - If we did, I would choose Chason all over again! He was consistently in communication with us through the entire process. He made sure his subs followed though on their commitments! We finished on-time and on-budget! Woo hoo!”
