“Whatever you need, Robert is ON IT. On time, on budget, beautiful work, and he WRANGLES WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY so you don't have to. We hired Kodiak to stain our pool deck (at the recommendation of the local Sherwin Williams). Robert took one look at our roof and said, "You've got a lot of hail damage, see?" then showed us pics of the dings and dents we'd failed to notice. He met with the insurance adjuster a few days later and within a week we had a brand new roof. I then hired him to repair and seal our driveway. He powerwashed it THREE TIMES before putting the sealer on. A contractor with a conscience!”

“We must, by way of relief and gratitude, begin this review of Thoroughbred Custom Homes with the highest regard and highest recommendation! I first would like to start by commending TCH on their utmost honesty, high integrity, and professionalism through and through. After critically and extensively researching several other “custom home builders” in the DFW area, i can confidently say that none of them hold a candle next to Thoroughbred. Thoroughbred created a masterpiece of a home that far exceeded our already very high expectations. The quality and scale of our home is stellar- they do not take shortcuts. The materials thoroughbred used to construct the shell of our home, as their standard, typically would cost tens of thousands to upgrade to through other home builders. They truly are not bluffing when they say high quality is their standard, this company sets the bar extraordinarily high. Harris and Evan are exceptional construction managers. They both went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, to ensure to job site was clean each and every day, and most importantly that the jobs were being done right. They kept us informed at all times and made sure jobs were getting done on schedule day in and day out. They were very transparent about costs, and they made the process so easy with the BuilderTREND app. Unlike our experience with other large scale home builders, we were never once blind sided or price gouged when it came to choosing interior finishes. In fact, because of our experiences with other home builders in the area, i can also confidently say that thoroughbred has the most generous allowances when selecting finishes. As someone who is passionate about design- this is where it hit a home run for me. Gina, who leads the design aspect of construction was an absolute pleasure to work with! Gina has excellent taste, class, and vision. She helped guide me through to make the right choices, in addition to steering me away from what could be a bad choice by considering the dynamics of our life…(kids, dogs, etc.) She truly pulled everything together seamlessly without me ever feeling overwhelmed, and i never want to design another house without her!! All of this leads me to say that although Thoroughbred Custom Homes is a newer builder to the North Dallas area- they are exactly what this area has been missing. You can find a home builder just about anywhere in Dallas- but you won’t find a top of the line, best of the best builder like Thoroughbred.”

From the moment we moved in, he was ready to help and had awesome ideas on how to take our old, grungy, falling apart home and turn it into something we never dreamed it could be. He gives great attention to detail and has excellent taste as well. “Contractors 4U worked very quickly on a proposal for a remodel. Received a very accurate quote on the scope of work and we were able to move forward. The work was completed and I could not have been anymore pleased. They kept me up to date throughout the entire process, which was nice. “Walker Properties just completed a fantastic remodel of our Jack/Jill restroom. From the initial meeting, Josh Walker was very helpful in guiding me to what would be most beneficial to the project and had several suggestions that saved us a lot of money and time. Josh was very straightforward with his estimate and broke things down in case we decided to do the project in stages. His crew was very meticulous, respectful of our time and home, and very accommodating when I decided to add something in mid-remodel(extra painting). The job was completed in less than two weeks and it is beautiful and everything I asked for and more. I HIGHLY recommend Walker Properties and will definitely use them again in the future.”

“Tom and Scott built this great house for us about 8 years ago. They were involved from design and of course through construction. With over 7000 sq ft, we had lots of questions and challenges for first time we had a house built. They were terrific and we felt that we got a good value and great advice throughout, plus quality construction. Important too was that they stood by their work and do so even today. I know that if I had a problem with this house that was even remotely related to construction that one quick phone call would bring them back and they would take care of it. We did have a problem several years after construction and they fixed it at no cost to us. We have also had some remodeling done by them and they are great. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone. I would attach a picture to this, but do not see a way to do that.”

They were dedicated to creating a design and project that worked around my budget and concerns, and the quality of their work was impeccable and on time. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and comfortable. Any questions I had were answered in short order and I never felt anything but comfortable entrusting my home to them. 10/10 would hire again.”

“Before I tell you about our Euro experience, let me first say that generally I am a pessimist and I have never actually gone to the trouble of writing a review on-line. With that said, I think you are lucky to have EURO work on your project. Our first encounter with Euro was on a home tour where several of their clients opened up their homes to complete strangers to show off Euro’s work 1st hand. Fast forward to a leak in our master bathroom. We didn't think we could afford Euro and after a long process of trying to find the best & most economical contractor, we finally decided to put our trust in Euro. We are SO VERY glad we did. Melinda’s attention to detail and eye for design is unmatched. After only speaking with us a few times she was able to design such a beautiful space within our budget with very little input from us. It is like she got inside our head. We walked in to talk about the project and she had the entire bathroom laid out including the actual tiles in the design pattern. It was no nice to see exactly what the room would look like. It’s very important to her that you are going to enjoy living in the space for years to come. During the construction they took great care to make sure that our space was kept clean. They were always on time, professional, trustworthy, and friendly. We never once felt uncomfortable leaving while they were in our home. They do not cut corners, they will be honest with you about what’s going on and what your options are. In addition, they helped us navigate the claim with our insurance company to get more money than we would have. They met the adjuster & his manager in our home to show them the extent of the damage. We could not have done this alone. I have never had such a positive experience with a contractor and can only hope that you are fortunate enough to work with Euro. We will never use anyone else for any project no matter how large or how small. It is worth every penny spent!”

“We contracted Oakmark Homes to build a house on our lot. The entire process with Oakmark was extremely pleasant and stress free. Mark was always attentive to our concerns and changes. He personally oversaw the entire build process. We did not have to deal with a build supervisor or program manager, we worked directly with the builder. Mark is extremely honest and did what he said he would do. We would highly recommend this builder and if we ever build another house we would use Oakmark again.”
