“G Family Construction are nice people who are easy to talk to. They listened to my ideas and gave me some additional ideas which improved my plan. An additional window was installed and two French doors replaced old sliders and single door. Additional carpentry work for cabinets, etc. On the eⅹterior French drains were installed and a sump pump was installed in basement.”

“Sami did a wonderful job on our home. We love her style so we pretty much gave her Carte Blanche to do what ever she wanted to based on our budget. She redid the floors, painted the interior and switched out our front door and some windows. She then added all sorts of fun touches like painting the exterior walkway & pool decking to make them really stand out. Put beautiful planters by the front door that really enhance the area. The extra touches were very inexpensive but made a HUGE difference to the overall appearance of the property. We are so glad we trusted our gut and just let her do her thing. She has an amazing eye and some of her suggestions were so simple like moving stuff around and rearranging certain things the end result is fabulous.”

His work, and that of his excellent crews, is of the highest quality and the experience of working with Frank is always a delight. Designers always worry about their projects but I never worry about a project if Frank is the builder. He is, at all times, organized, proactive, honest, dependable, trustworthy and smart. He has carefully trained his crews and they are some of the best craftsmen (and people) I've had the pleasure to work with in my career. Frank has the breadth of knowledge and experience to assess a job, trouble-shoot any potential issues in advance, fairly price and prepare spreadsheets on both costs and schedule, and manage all aspects of the project effortlessly (or at least it seems that way!). They completed the extensive repairs we needed to several of our decks, remodeled our kitchen exactly the way I'd imagined it, and dealt with unexpected issues with grace and expediency. They did all this in a timely manner and kept to the budget we discussed at the outset. In addition to all this, Jeff and everyone he works with is unfailing kind and friendly. “I used The Victorian Cottage Corporation for a rebuild of an old backyard cottage in Alameda, CA and was impressed. Robert, the owner is knowledgeable and very easy to work worth. Building with the extra detailing was extra work but definitely worthwhile. Even the building inspectors commented that this guy knows his stuff. Everything came out great.”

“I worked with Benchmark Builders LLC, we did a whole home remodel. They were straightforward to work with and also had a lot of fun. They are a down-to-earth builder that made the process enjoyable. Were their hiccups? Yes, but all in all I would work with them again and I love my home. Nick the owner was a pleasure to work with.”
