“Deltec Homes 'co-created' our current home: lots of back & forth tweaking the design to our preferences, once we settled on the template size. They also connected us with another homeowner 'in our general area' whose home we toured (while we were in our initial inquiry phase) & referred us to a 'local' contractor with experience 'assembling' their designs. Lots of tech support. The template, itself, allowed us to manifest our personal preferences. We couldn't be happier with the structure AND the experience.”

“My wife and I embarked on an in city build of our home in Asheville after falling in love with this small city and stumbling upon a rare available lot quite walkable to downtown. The year prior to this, when we were quite content to rent longterm, we went with close friends who were eager to build here on a tour of Jade Mountain built homes locally. We were immediately drawn to the craftsmanship, intelligent livability and homey style of all 5 projects we saw that day and mentally pocketed that info for the future. So when our lot became available, we never hesitated to start all of our design/build planning discussions exclusively with Jade. It is more than a year later from that time, in fact we just moved into our completed home this week, and we couldn't be more pleased not just with the outcome but with the journey. No build project can be stress free, God knows. But Jade has in house teams of craftsman and we count all of the 20-25 or so team members we encountered as vested friends in our project. Urban neighbor challenges came up early in the build process and without the ever present humor and respectful good nature of Jade's workers, we would not have fared so well. We really can't say enough about the quality of our home's build, coupled with a process where we were listened to and valued every step of the way. But perhaps most of all, the Jade Mountain team is as proud and excited about our completed project as we are. Hans Doellgast has assembled a great group of folks to work with, top quality from start to finish.”

“Dane is absolutely one of the most professional architects I've ever worked with. I've been in the business including commercial homes and hotels, Dane and his company stands up to the best of them that includes: worldwide. Dana has a very talented mind and is able to work with you on your project to help you develop your images that you have in your mind and put them on paper. He does this in a very quick manner at a great price. I not only recommend him but I will put him as part of our team and using them in the future for our projects.”

“Thompson Properties was very accountable in the building of my home at Balsam Mountain Preserve. Even after a year when we had a bad freeze John Thompson jumped when we call for help. He drove up and assisted us understanding what you do when you have frozen pipes. He discovered why it had occurred and corrected by putting further insulation where it was required. The true problem had originated in the fact that the heated floor system did not have an anti-freeze product. This was not their installation but he was able to discover what should be done to correct this so that we would not have it happen again. Six years later and we have never had a repeat performance. I would highly advise using this group for building your home.”

“We moved into our home, Hemlock Ridge, that Kaizen Homes built in 2016. The whole process from beginning to move in was well planned, professional, and very collaborative between the builder, Jonathan Landry, and ourselves. He uses software that organizes the selection process for fixtures, trims etc. for the customer. This was extremely helpful. He was careful with our budget and if issues or concerns came up they were communicated immediately. Jonathan and his team did a quality job in every aspect of our home. We had no issues after our move in. I would highly recommend Jonathan as a home builder!”

Skilled workers are hard to find, prices are high, and wait lists are long. Old North State Building gave us reasonable pricing, great work in a timely fashion, and had genuine concern for our well being. We couldn’t have asked for more.”
