Caleb was available every step of the way to answer questions and solve any problems that arose. The staff who worked on our project were friendly, knowledgeable, and cleaned up when they left for the day. We will definitely call Center Island for any future projects.”

“I had interviewed 10 contractors prior to hiring JAL construction. I was in an area that was hit hard with Super Storm Sandy and Jal Construction had just completed a home around the block from me. I asked the homeowner what his experience was and he had nothing but raving comments. I had two homes to complete because my mom was hard hit as well. So after my mom's architecture plans for her new home was complete I had John come over and give me an estimate. John was very fair in his estimate and the quality of his product was much better than the other contractors. For instance he used solid wood interior doors and Pella professional series where everyone else was using Anderson 100 series and hollow doors. John was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process constantly checking in to make sure everything was as we wanted. I also liked the fact that he would do one home at a time which made the process much quicker. I was so impressed by the quality and workmanship that I hired John and Jal Construction to do my house as well and I was equally impressed”

What is priceless about David was that he remained present and extremely accessible throughout the progress of the project. From coming to the store to pick out materials (and passing on his contractor discount), to layout ideas, and most importantly, how he provided solutions to unforeseen hiccups in the project due to architectural mistakes.
