“We found Placelift by doing a general search for builders on Houzz. We had just purchased our first home, which we wanted to renovate quite extensively, but didn't have a clue how to go about it. What we needed was a project partner that could hold our hand each step of the way, and that's just what the team at Placelift did. Lead by Clodagh, the team were absolute angels, nothing we needed was too big or too small, and nothing was ever a problem. We felt they cared about our house as much as we did. Going into the project we had a lot of our own ideas, which Clodagh built on and guided us toward an end product that we absolutely love. It's hard to succinctly put into words just how happy we were with Placelift. We would recommend them to anyone (and have done so).”

“We hired DP Building to create an open plan area for an old 1970's house that had multiple ad-hoc extensions. They did a fantastic job on the new roof for the extension and incorporated a stunning patent glazing roof-light which every visitor to the house has since commented on. A real stand out feature. DP also built us a lovely patio for our garden, created a real flow from the garden to the house. The kids now spend all their time outside. Inside the house DP rewired, re-plumbed and re-insulated the house with all new plastered walls. Our BER rating went from E2 to B2. The plastering working was second to none. Overall the finish to the house was 5 stars. DP really take pride in their work and it shows in the final finish. Other than the excellent work and attention to detail and ability, one of the best comments I can make about DP is the personal. Every single one of them were professional and courteous. A genuinely nice bunch of people who made me feel very comfortable through all stages of the build. The build was completed on time, there were no hidden costs, no surprises. DP kept me updated through-out the build and did not rush off before the house was finished. They stuck with it till the job was completely finished and I have no qualms in giving them a 5 star rating. Highly recommended from a very happy customer!”

“I hired Bosch Thomas construction for a big project on my house, attic conversion and house refurbishment couldn’t recommend them enough. I gave Thomas my ideas and the team couldn’t have hit the nail on the head more with the end result! From start to finish an amazing team to deal with very professional and most importantly everything was completed punctually as promised. The quality and attention to detail is second to none and I wouldn’t look any further in the future for additional work.”

“Had Buildtech in after recommendation from my Insurance company. Water leak happened on a Bank Holiday weekend and Buildtech were on the case immediately. They rectified the cause of the leak and managed the repairs to the ceiling and walls. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work from Derek the plumber , Alan the plasterer , Justin the decorator and Harry the carpet man. All were punctual , efficient and their work is to the highest standard. A big thank you to Robbie who managed the whole project despite some significant obstacles in the course of the work. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and I will use them in the future .”

“Mark and his team were very reliable, hardworking and went above and beyond on many occasions while working on our house. Mark helped to come up with design ideas based on his years of experience and relished in the challenges set by this fussy housewife...! ;-) "So you don't want an architrave eh...?" We would have no hesitation in recommending MG construction for any building job and we are extremely happy with our extension of a sunroom onto the end of our kitchen, and new insulated shed.”
