In 2012, we met Tim at the Philadelphia Home Show, and were impressed by Tim’s portfolio of previous designs and building projects. On his first visit to our home in the Philadelphia suburbs Tim impressed us again with his instant understanding of our home improvement needs. We wanted to build a new bathroom in a little-used space that was attached to our master bedroom, but Tim suggested a much better solution; building an addition to the house’s second floor, and placing the bathroom in it. This way we got a fabulously looking new master bathroom that is an envy of our friends and neighbors, and avoided a mistake of building a bathroom that would be to small and not convenient. Timothy also designed and built for us a mudroom in front of our house, completely redesigned and rebuilt our patio, and changed the siding all around the house. We are very satisfied with the quality of his design and workmanship of his crew. Tim is a very experienced project manager, and he worked hard to accommodate our specific requirements during the project and to adjust all the logistics accordingly. He was able to keep the project deadlines despite very unfavorable weather conditions, the climax of which was Hurricane Sandy. During the project we occasionally changed our mind regarding some details (e.g., selection of tiles), and Tim was always ready to either accept our new ideas or, when they were not practical, offer very good alternatives. During the project we developed a trusting, friendly relationship with Timothy and many of his crew members. We were so satisfied with our collaboration with Tim that, after the first big project was completed, we tasked him with a couple of smaller projects in our house (e.g., staircase renovation), and outside (landscaping). We are sure that, with his great artistic taste, his extensive technical experience, and his understanding of individual clients’ characters and preferences, Timothy can exceed expectations of the most demanding clients. “Gutted the kitchen and did a complete remodel. Original kitchen was u-shape with an island squaring it off. Issues: The oven was next to refrigerator; pipes of the sink located on outside wall kept freezing in extreme weather; cooktop on island made cooking difficult, could barely boil water; limited counter space; dated white cabinets; and built in desk that was no longer useful. The design called for moving double oven to opposite wall of kitchen, relocated pipes from outside wall by bringing them up from floor, moved cooktop off island to against side wall, pushed island back to create more floor space, custom cabinets with granite countertops, and a beverage bar with sink. The existing ceramic tile is in good shape and we wanted to keep it. It turns out that keeping the flooring was almost a deal breaker. We began making selections... custom design natural stained maple cabinets in transitional style; stainless steel appliances, granite. When we went for flooring, we were told that the existing tile was too old to withstand the cuts necessary to add decorative touches which would cover holes/ broken tiles when building the new island. Between Jeff & sub contractor, a compatible tile was used to look like a rug and the island was placed on it. It turned out to be one of my favorite things. Jeff Musser, owner, provided a great design that satisfied work flow and efficiency/space issues. He surrounds his business with quality sub contractors. He works within budget and time restraints. And, finally, he makes customers aware of the process and sets a schedule so expectations are realistic. No disappointments here. Musser Builders are the best!”

“Jeffrey L. Henry Inc. built our dream home in 2014 and it was a wonderful experience! Everyone that Jeff surrounds himself with are first class all the way. From his office staff to all his subcontractors. The design process was great fun (and exciting too). Jeff and Justin came up with a completely new floor plan for us which fits our life style perfectly. To put it in a nutshell... You get more than you expect! Even though all the specifications are listed out for you, the actual finished product is much better than shown. Granted, we went over budget in certain areas (like the kitchen) but Jeff's budgets are quite generous! When ever we asked for something, Jeff's response was always "Yes". There were no surprises, no drama and above all the home is beautiful inside and out. Would we have Jeffrey L. Henry build us another home? Is tomorrow too soon?!”
