“My husband's grandfather is going to come live with us so we can give him more care as he ages. We hired Stephen to design a master bed/bath addition that has ADA-accessibility for Grandpa, as well as a kitchen & dining remodel on our small, ~925 sq ft, 2 bed, 1 bath 1935 cottage. We are still in the process of finalizing the design and are getting ready to hire a contractor for the project. Stephen has been great to work with so far. He is friendly, thorough, thoughtful and very creative. Throughout this long process of narrowing down what we want our house to be he has patiently and carefully listened to all our ideas, concerns and needs, given us great ideas of his own, answered all of our questions, and has incorporated everything we want into a ~1420 sq ft, 3 bed, 2.5 bath floor plan. We are looking forward to working with Stephen throughout this project and we are confident that with his help we will end up with a beautiful and comfortable, family friendly home.”

“Had some decisions to make, as we wanted to add to our family, and could no longer live in our 2 bedroom 1 bath house. We could either move or build up. We chose to build up to a 4 bedroom 3 bath, and are ecstatic with the results. Although my wife's concern was having all the bedrooms on one floor, mine was that the remodel keep the same historic architectural detail that attracted me to East Sacramento to begin with. Cue in Mills Builders which is run like a finely tuned pitching machine. You have the starter, Jonathan Mills, who's work I had seen around the neighborhood back in the height of the construction boom, kept the right people even though he had to scale back in the current economy, and was able to bring our vision to fruition with the help of designer John Packowski. That, and he owned a home in East Sac and only moved to Clarksburg because of his growing family sold us on the deal. After the initial stages, the middle reliever is Danny DePiazza, who is the project manager. He was always timely to our requests and kept a firm deadline. Finally, the closer comes in. Seth was able to handle all of our punch-list needs. I figure if you are going to spend 5-6 months day-in, day-out making decisions that you are going to have to live with for the rest of your life, there are few people who can say such positive things about such a big project. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't change a thing. Go with Mills Builders; you'll be happy you did.”

“Andy and Josh just completed a bathroom remodel for us. We are extremely happy with both the experience and the results. The new bathroom looks great and functions well. The budget and timetable were absolutely transparent. They were organized, efficient, skillful, and congenial. Throughout, they were mindful of the fact that we often work at home and kept mess and mayhem to a minimum. They solved the unexpected problems that invariably arise in a remodel creatively. They made excellent use of calls, email and texting to keep us informed about the schedule and any questions that arose. “I completed my bathroom remodel with Pure Renovations Design Inc. Alex and Ronen were great to work with. A few things were discovered during construction, as something always does, but they brought it to my attention and had resolutions. The finished product was exactly what I envisioned on my inspiration board I provided them. So happy with the bathroom and other small add ons I did to complete it.”
