“I worked for Hawks Hollow Builders, and from the viewpoint of quality building, I can give them a very high recommendation. The guys I worked with were experienced professionals, who each took pride in a job done to the best of their abilities. Of course, many builders take pride in the detailing of a job - custom case work, or in building an oversized cedar timber porch, but at HHB, the guys frame a job in the best way they know how, never rushing through a project at the cost of thorough quality. These are the kind of guys who recognize that you might have to cut something more than once for it to fit right and look best. The owners were on site often, reviewing what had been done with our boss (both our foreman and the owner of the company). In other words, they were very involved, and it was welcomed. They also were able to envision better what had been described on paper. They also have a woodshop, run by one guy who's been there for many years. His skill for woodworking is incredible, and the doors and cabinets he builds are beautiful. If you are looking for creative minds, capable hands, and honest builders, I can recommend Hawks Hollow Builders.”

Bruce was able to incorporate our planning ideas, relocate utilities, maximize the space available, and provide a quality finished product that we are proud of! We were even on a shortened timeline due to entertaining needs. They finished a week early, and were even under budget!!! Based on this experience, other quality custom builds we had seen from them, and many satisfied client testimonials, we also used them for a full custom build in 2016”

But I'm learning to lean on her creative eye to help me through the process. We haven't begun the job yet, but I know this is going to be a fun journey!”

“We had a small master bathroom with a huge jet tub, one sink, toilet and small shower. Hickory Builders came up with a design that made the bathroom feel twice as big with everything we wanted. By taking one of the linen closets on the other side of the wall and removing the unused jet tub, they were able to not only make a large shower my husband wanted, but also put in a double sink, claw foot tub and a beautiful cabinet with a lot of storage. The transformation is amazing and a pleasure to be in whether in the tub soaking in a nice soothing hot bath or showering with lots of room. The cabinetry is custom built and the quality is second to none. They are professional, clean and go above and beyond! We also had the kitchen done a few years earlier and also an outstanding job, that's why we had them back. I would trust them with any project large or small, their attention to detail from start to finish is great, on scheduling to picking out fixtures and guiding with great suggestions.”

“Excellent crew: Bath and Closet area remodel: Delivered exactly what they said as we ran into no major suprised during the remodel. Cleaned up everyday...so, no dust & dirt floating around my home. Took care not to let any pets outside. Can't say enough nice things. The original bath was shades of Olive Green tiles and tub/sink/toilet. The closet was 2 bifold doors in a walk through area to get to the bath. Did you want before photos?”

I was impressed with the level of quality that they display not only in their material choices, but also in their installation. The attention to detail is impressive, and the end result is beautiful, quality construction. They were always open to decorative ideas, and offered many creative solutions to the home owner. We won the People's Choice Award for "our" Parade home. I'm excited for our next joint venture.”
