Greg Lee went out of his way for us to ensure everything was solidly designed and constructed. They used high quality material (never skimped on anything). We used his expert opinion several times throughout the project when making detailed decisions. ShoreStone's design team had a great vision for the style and materials on the interior and exterior. They were able to listen to what our ideas were and then helped us choose the cabinetry, granite, lighting fixtures and many more finishing touches that make the inside of the carriage house absolutely perfect. “Way Builders worked from architectual drawings to redesign and bring down the cost of our vacation home. We agreed to time and materials and the project came in under projected costs. We had never built a house before and were living 300 miles from the building site. We could not have been more pleased and enjoyed the experience. There were no surprises. The workmanship was exceptional. The project was completed on time. We thorougly enjoyed working with Ron Way and would highly rfecommend him as your builder.”

“We wanted a barn to store boats and cars with an upstairs area for the kids (between us we have six). The project started on time and finished very near the projected date. We changed a couple of things along the way so construction took a bit longer...but that was our fault not Porter Builders. The finished barn is exactly what we wanted! The guys on the job were respectful, listened to our needs and desires, and the workmanship is top notch. Pictures of the finished project (inside and out) are on their website. Porter Builders built our house on Torch Lake also and over the years have had them do various projects for us--remodeling a bathroom, putting a roof over the wraparound porch, and most recently (construction started yesterday) adding a small addition which will be a large family room with a flagstone patio and pergola off of it. Construction is to be finished August 10th. Ed and his guys haven't ever let us down!”
