Steve was able to take our detailed list of design requirements and create an incredibly functional home plan that ultimately satisfied all of our needs and desires. Highlights of our project included: - The final home plan was the product of a highly collaborative and iterative design process that relied upon 3D renderings and walkthroughs to test and review the plan at each stage of design. This allowed us to validate the plan and, where necessary, make adjustments before construction actually started. “We have hired LakeHouse Design Build for several major projects at our lakeside cabin in Belgrade, Maine, and have been thrilled with the work done. Projects included a complete rebuild of portions of the main floor, including a new entrance porch, redesigned kitchen, bathroom, interior stairways, shelving, wiring updates, exterior patio, exterior stairways, and others. The work done was based on our wishes and requirements, but the design and details primarily reflected Mr. Bill Hudson's unique skills as a builder and designer. After researching area contractors before engaging this work, I had no doubt he was the best choice for our projects.
