“Craftsman Construction provided us with a building experience that was easy and worry free. Jerry was very professional, honest and trustworthy. Whenever a problem became apparent within our project, he thoughtfully resolved the issue. He was patient with us when we decided to make an aesthetic changes, even after the specified work had been completed. But most importantly, Craftsman's quality is what keeps us coming back to Jerry. We will build another house with Craftsman when it is time to downsize. Timothy and Amy Nojaim I would like to continue my review of Craftsman Construction. It has now been 8 years since Jerry has built our home. We have temporarily moved overseas. We have continued using Jerry and Craftsman Construction to manage the upkeep and occasional repairs to our wonderful house, while we have been away. He continues to be courteous and kind to our tenants. He is always fair with his pricing. He has truly become a family friend. Thanks, Jerr!”

“Construction & remodeling is a big business. There are many small & large companies competing in the field. What stand out about SB was 1- their estimates were very close to the actual cost, 2- they did the job on time & 3- they made no excuses like lots of others I have seen because they didn’t need to. Professional staff with great service. I do recommend them for anybody looking to do work on their homes.”

“Erika is truly talented. We hired her to update and remodel the kitchen, living room, bathrooms and foyer in our recently purchased home. We immediately knew that we were in good hands. She took the time to ask the right questions and really listen to my husband and I as we described what what most important to us. Her designs maximized space, minimized unnecessary expense and transformed our house (built in the 1980's) into a fresh and modern home. When it came time to decorate, she selected furniture and accents that fit our design aesthetic and more importantly our lifestyle. I certainly have a taste for the finer things, but with a dog and a baby, we wanted to make sure that we were smart and economical with our purchases. Erika took all of this into consideration while sourcing items for our home, finding us items that we not only loved, but could feel good about buying for our family. My husband and I joke that Erika knows what we really want before we do, but it's not really a joke. She puts great care into her work and it's incredibly important to her that her clients love the finished product - and we most certainly do!”

“My wife and I were looking to remodel our kitchen and a friend of ours recommended Bowa because Bowa remodeled their home. I thought it would be very costly, but after speaking with them I found that they were very affordable. All of our questions were answered and trust me we had many. Our overall experience has been a great one. Everyone was very professional and they actually finished 1 day earlier. I would recommend Bowa to all of my friends.”

“MBR remodeled a 1963 home for me in Sept. 2013. They replaced a full bath, a half bath and a kitchen as well as painted and patched, repaired electrical and plumbing issues, and landscaped the front and back yards. The house sold the first week on the market at almost full asking price. George Kall is a real professional with lots of experience. He ran the project in a way that required very little from me, which was wonderful, as I was not living in the property and could not come by often to check on the progress. He addressed any problems very promptly. He made excellent suggestions when I was unsure of a direction to take. He called in a roofer, a plumber, an electrician, and painters. He also dealt with a cranky neighbor quite well. The only negative was I lost an expensive Miele vacuum cleaner - it disappeared during the remodeling and MBR was not able to find out where it went.”

“Kevin and VM Solutions were professional, fairly priced and highly creative in their approach to our project. When people talk about Pure Barre studios, we consistently hear that we have a fantastic design and exceptional craftsmanship. Beyond the standard work (drywall, ceiling tiles etc...) They completed the following creative concepts with ease: 1. Brick wall veneers on several walls 2. Reclaimed wood desk and barn door 3. Transom windows 4. Pipe shelving 5. “We selected J&B over 4 other contractors to finish our basement and create a bonus room (laundry/craft/sewing room) over our garage. From beginning to end, J&B were consummate professionals - they were continuously available regardless of the day or time of day, they were courteous in both word and action and they were highly respectful of our home's private space. In addition to these important client sensitivities, J&B did exceptional work in our basement and bonus room - the attention to detail and workmanship was extraordinary; we frequently receive compliments about our basement and bonus from guests. While there were a couple issues along the way, J&B rapidly corrected the situation and made good on the work. J&B is a values-based company that is extraordinarily competent with fair and reasonable prices - I would hire them again in a minute! Superb!”

“Mr. Dowell has earned our highest recommendation as an outstanding master craftsman, a contractor of high integrity, and a very nice man to boot. We first worked with Robert about 15 years ago to develop plans for extensive built-ins for our library, when our project was derailed by a major home disaster. When we finally got back around to our plans for the library just recently, the first place we went was Mr. Dowell. He not only remembered us, he had saved the plans and we were able to move ahead with the very elegant and functional project he developed for us over a decade ago. He had done built-ins for others in our neighborhood, so we had excellent references. But to be sure, we did check with others on price and quality, and overall his prices were not only highly competitive, but the quality of his work was better than many other highly respected cabinet manufacturers. Don’t expect a rush job – Mr. Dowell takes his time and does it right, and the result for us was simply outstanding. This caliber of work is virtually unseen today. We not only don’t have any complaints, I just wish I could find a craftsman of his caliber every time I needed work at the house. He is superb, and we will seek to use him again on a couple of other projects we have in mind, and are happy to serve as a reference.”
