“We used Golden Hammer for a total kitchen and bath remodel as well as some exterior siding repair, a new window, and replacing a sliding glass door with a window. We initially contacted a total of six different contractors in the Gainesville area and chose Golden Hammer because of their detailed, itemized estimate that made us feel they had a good understanding of what we wanted done. We trusted him to build our home for our retirement in North Florida while we were living in South Florida, 350 miles away. He communicated with us daily, keep us up to date with information and photos and meet us on some weekend at the site to consul and advise us in the progress, materials and the area business and our community important locations. At the end of the job, he presented us a beautiful, cozy and practical place to live our golden years. “The Hernacki Company has been working in my "retirement" neighborhood for the past year, completing a variety of projects, large and small, creatively and conscientiously. We, 50 homeowners, have come to know the Hernacki team: Brandi, Theo, and Will. We feel so fortunate to have a crew that we know and trust, and do excellent work. It is a true gift for a group of owners, who are not as active as we once were and rely on services provided for us. The Hernacki Company has renovated our mailboxes, redone our retention ponds, inspected and repaired our wood rot, and is painting each unit. “I purchased a condo from Emmer Development in an existing subdivision. They were very understanding when I wished to make changes with the model design that worked better for my lifestyle. They even helped me with the design of the changes I wished to make. The cost of the condo and of the changes i made was always accurate. The two minor issues I had were readily resolved with little inconvenience and no cost to me. Prior to buying my condo, I had built a home that was twice as big and cost twice as much. I can honestly say the quality of my condo is much better than the home I built. Emmer employees stayed on time during the building process.”
