“I found Klaus Thorsen through various local web sites with high recommendation. I needed some special shelving units and cupboards to be built in my study. The space was complex due to it being in a loft extension and my requirements were very specific. Klaus took my very rough drawings and measured up perfectly to adapt this to the actual space. The quality of his work was perfect and I am delighted with the result. As important was his attitude, which including being punctual almost to the second, being excellent to work with, ensuring not a speck of dust remained after he had finished and keeping perfectly to schedule. Indeed the only problem is that Klaus is booked up for several months in advance!! I would HIGHLY recommend him”

“Petar and Koko were an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only were they friendly, clean, tidy, flexible and punctual but more importantly their attention to detail and professional skills were exceptionally good. They painted the hall and landing and installed spindles on the stairs. They removed an old floor, insulated underneath and installed a new wooden floor in the living room. They tiled in the kitchen and repaired cracks in the wall and ceilings. They replaced 2 radiators. We have already rebooked them to come back for the next project. Petar and Koko have set the standards by which all others will be judged!”

“Louis and Sam built us a large double-glazed window in high-spec wood (no shrinking, very robust etc). Excellent quality and design, lets in more light, much admired. They stand out as they put such thought and detail into the piece of work so we knew we were in safe hands. Will use them again without any hesitation, next for bi-fold doors. They are very knowledgeable and really care about the result they produce. Craftsmen like this are not easy to find. Produced our window at short notice, arrived on time, worked late until it was finished.”

“Martin was recommended to us after our relatively small but highly bespoke projects were turned down by several large companies. Looking back, we’re very glad they did, as we are absolutely delighted with the work Martin did for us. Martin took the time to discuss with us what we were trying to achieve, understand how we wanted the end result to fit within our interior and came up with great design ideas. His craftsmanship is really excellent and you can definitely see the quality of his work in the various pieces he produced for us. Further, he is very responsive to emails and sticks to deadlines (or will let you know in advance if something takes longer than expected). Even better, the rooms he was working in were clean at the end of each day when he was on site. Overall, we can only give high praise to Martin for his work. “Tom recently laid an engineered wood floor in my living room, together with new skirting boards. His work is of the highest quality and the end result is impressive. He works carefully and thoroughly and charges a fair price for his services. The project cost shown below refers to labour costs and incidental materials, but does not include the cost of the wood, which I purchased myself. Tom has also done other work for me, including rebuilding a complicated garden shed, and re-tiling a fireplace and fire surround, with which I am equally pleased. I would recommend him unreservedly.”
