“Ron is an excellent wood worker, designer, and a basic problem solver. Ron takes time in discussing what you really want done and will customize his work to satisfy your needs. One example is the kitchen island he made for us. We were planning on just buying one from the Restoration Hardware but as we started to look at them they did not address all our needs. Ron sat down with us and designed an island with drawers that open from both sides for better access. He heightened the island size, just a bit, to allow for the garbage can lid to open all the way. He matched our current kitchen paint. We did not want wheels but wanted to be able to move the island around - Ron's solution was to install hard plastic strips on the bottom that help it glide. If you want quality work and an affordable cost then contact Ron.”

“From start to finish our experience with Alm has been excellent. Their workers are friendly and responsive, patient with questions, and above all, they are excellent craftsman who obviously take justifiable pride in doing excellent work. They recently came to Utah from the midwest and you should hire them now before they get too busy. With their business philosophy and experience, they won't stay available for long. They repaired our sliding door, fixed drywall, and build a beautiful fireplace and mantle for us. They carefully sealed off the area and hauled away all debris and scrap. They also repaired our wood floor and relocated a copper pipe. All of it was done on time and on budget. I've never had a better experience with a service provider.”

“these folks are nothing short of amazing. their estimates are right on target and their prices are reasonable. they are clean, show up on time and complete projects in a timely manner. High quality results and pleasant to work with. I have done 3-4 projects over the years with them and have never had a complaint. Projects have ranged from a new garage to re-configuring space and adding bathrooms in an older home. “Ritch Schmidt is a carpenter in the truest sense of the word. If you are looking for something fast and cheap, Ritch is definitely not your man and that may be the highest compliment I can give. If you are looking for professional, meticulous work and careful decision making that will result in a beautiful and lasting finished product, Ritch will deliver just that. Ritch installed a wood floor in our kitchen and living room and handcrafted our wood stairs two years ago. His custom work enriched our home and remains the most beautiful and commented on work product in our home. We talk about how much we love his work every day. Ritch takes his time for the right reason-because he cares deeply about the finished product.
