“Gordon and Catrina have now done several lighting designs and installations for us, as well as an audio visual design and installation. Gordon is incredibly knowledgeable about the products in the market and all the tricks and traps of how they operate, their issues, reliability, etc etc. This vast know how makes him a really good guy to have on your team when you are doing a lighting design, be it simply to jazz up an existing installation, or to start from scratch with a complete new design in a new build, etc. He is really good value for money too and will advise you on the best products for you - not just the highest price products! Gordon and Catrina both have a great design sense too and this means that the end effect generally has a wow factor that will impress anyone who sees it. Thoroughly recommended.”

“After visiting their stand at the Scottish Interior Design a couple of years ago, we decided to use Cotterel & Co to give us advice on lighting our new self catering lodges. We worked with Ruth from start to finish, and she did such a good job for us that we're handing over the lighting of our new guest-house to her! It's a huge job; lighting a huge, exposed oak frame is not going to be easy, but it's in good hands. We are completely confident that we will get just what we want and need for our new venture. “This firm was new to me but what a find! They are friendly, extremely helpful and efficient - indeed all that a company ought to be. I really couldn't fault them. They supplied items first of all for my electrician for our house renovation but then I discovered they could source a wide range of lighting so they supplied and fitted. We had a tiny glitch which was rectified promptly and to our satisfaction. I am very happy to recommend them - James their business development manager was fantastic to work with, giving advice and help. Best thing of all - he kept in touch when he said he would and arrived at a time to suit us. I only wish we'd found this firm before we started ripping our house apart rather than just at the final stage. An excellent service all round.”
