“For the last few months, my wife and I were considering updating our yard. The idea originally was to freshen up the space with some plants and possibly do some hard-scape as well. We spoke to a couple of landscape contractors but truthfully weren't convinced. Sometime went by and a neighbor suggested to contact A&E Landscapes. They are very responsive to any requests we have and are thorough in the maintenance of our yard. I appreciate that they will plant new plants for us if we pick them up and have given advice on what kind of plants work around our yard. They even help out by fixing our sprinklers without us asking (we actually hadn’t realized it was broken but were suspicious of why the grass wasn’t growing well in one spot). “This past summer we hired Landsystems Landscapes to design a backyard retreat for our family. “I hired Terry Shimono to help with a backyard design and then do all the work for a complete backyard remodel for a 20' x 15' backyard. This included taking out an old concrete patio and replacing with a new patio of pavers as well as an irrigation system and landscaping. Terry is one of the most professional and patient individuals I have ever worked with. He took time on several occasions to discuss the plans, look at patio options and shop for plants/trees. Not only did he meet deadlines and budgets, he also had a very helpful attitude during the entire process. One of the things I was most impressed with was the clean up. When the job was complete, the clean up was so thorough, it was impossible to tell they had been there. The end result exceeded my expectations and I am thoroughly enjoying my new backyard.
