“We worked with the wonderful Francesca of Fable and Base to design and make all the curtains & blinds for our new build. We had a family workshop with our children for them to shape their own personal 'nature inspired' designs that Fran then took and made into a professional print. We love the fact that the dyes are non toxic and the fabrics are organic - and we have completely bespoke window dressings that we love (and no-one else has!). We'd definitely recommend working with Fable & Base for your bespoke fabric needs. Thank you Fran x (The new house, screenprinting workshop and curtains can all be seen on Building the Dream 21/02/17! )”

“I ordered 2 armchairs made to look antique and they turned out absolutely spectacular! Glowing comments from friends and family who admired and sat in them! Both chairs made to fit in a small bay window and Patricia rose to the challenge: lovely manner down to every minute detail: style, measurements down to piping and legs of the chairs. She made them even better that I could explain. Patricia is a professional with a keen eye for what works, drawing from years of experience and she made sure that my chairs were done precisely as I wanted.Her clever use of fabric even saved me some money. I would say she went above and beyond her duties. For that, a heartfelt 'Thank you!' from me and a promise that I will spread the word, so that others order with confidence from her company.”

“We wanted a smart fitted cupboard in a small extension with a slopped ceiling that had to fit between existing windows and should provide ample storage space without dominating the room. Trish, the owner of the company, rang me back within minutes of completing an online enquiry form and arrived to measure the space within a couple of hours on the same day. She understood my brief immediately and suggested a beautiful and practical solution that met all our criteria. The fitted cupboard was produced in their own factory and fitted five weeks after the initial contact with great attention to detail, cleanliness and care (vacuuming regularly and putting sheets on the wooden floors to protect them). We are very happy with the service provided and love the new cupboard which provides a lot of storage, enhances the appearance of the room and gets compliments from everybody who sees it. Thank you!”

“I have have purchased various items of upholstery from Kingsgate furniture throughout the years and have always found the staff very helpful and the quality of workmanship is second to none each piece of furniture is hand made in England which is a bonus I have recently purchased a bespoke Chesterfield made to my own sizes and couldn't be happier the staff have so much knowledge of different leather types for every situation I will use again thank you for my wonderful furniture i will be back to purchase more I am one happy customer”
