“We have used Landscape Concepts continuously since 2012 for landscape services, mowing and routine maintenance and clean up. They are really good at minimizing any disturbance of surrounding plants when they are working. They keep our property looking as good as it can be. Their crews are excellent: thorough, efficient, respectful and responsive. Their clean up after working is always really great. They have planted, transplanted, and removed trees, bushes and other plantings at my exact direction (I'm very hands-on). While the cost to guarantee their plantings is high (60% of the cost of the plant material) it is the industry standard and Dale honors his guarantee with no-cost replacement. They do excellent hard-scaping (stone walls, brick and paver patios, etc). They are usually pretty prompt, but some seasons are pretty busy, so give yourself some lead time if you have a hard deadline. Dale is very knowledgeable, responsive, accessible and easy to coordinate with. I find a lack of continuity with landscape architects on staff, so it is helpful for you to have an idea of what you like or want when it comes to designing a space. I always keep a project plan with detailed notes and make progress updates. Credit card payment is not accepted.”

“We can't say enough great things about Outdoor Spaces! The designs are considered, professional, and unique, and most importantly the owners are patient, considerate, and great listeners. Their passion, depth of knowledge, and commitment to excellence are obvious in every project they complete, big or small! They complete their projects on time and with care, and their staff/subcontractors have always met high standards for keeping the work area clean and organized even DURING the work. We've worked with Outdoor Spaces year after year and typically are planning our next project even before they finish the current work. “I so enjoyed working with each member of the team at GardenWise, throughout our project -- good listeners, professional, kind, and responsive, not to mention talented and creative designers with excellent problem-solving approach, and terrific craftsmen. Estimates and budgets were accurate. The attention to detail and commitment to quality were superb - - even re-doing something I had said we "could live with" but they could not! That really, really impressed me. The project included a new driveway, lots of stone wall work, a new patio, water feature, and several new and renovated planting beds. I am eager to see how the plants 'return" in the coming summer and how they mature to fulfill the envisioned design.”

“The crew came out and did a great job pulling out and replanting the foundation planting at my home. The pulled out 7 old azaleas and 3 newer ones, The 3 they replanted in another area for me. The new planting was done quickly and all the material appears to be doing great. The Paperbark Maple is of excellent quality and well shaped. The crew was courteous and polite. The nandinas and hydrangeas used in the new planting were of excellent quality and size. This was not contractor grade material, true nursery stock quality.”

“I hired Chad at Surrounds, because I was looking for someone who could transform our backyard into another area for entertaining. We trusted him. He worked closely with us to present and modify the designs. He let us know when things would not work. We wanted a football field for the kids, as well as covered porch for the back and stone patio /fireplace or the fall. The landscaping was to tastefully hide our close neighbors and provide a southern style charm with year round color and lots of green texture. It is gorgeous on all counts. They flattened the yard and stonework is perfect. We love it.”

“We had just bought our house and did not have the funds to improve our yard with a high end landscaping design company. Rather we had muscle (my husband) and I to do the labor. Enter Maureen Robinson. Respectful of our shoestring budget, Maureen worked with us to develop a garden design that allowed us to enhance the layout that was already in place. She helped design our backyard which was essentially dirt and our front walkway. She helped us choose flowers that allows our garden to be in bloom from April - November. Neighbors look at our yard enviously. Maureen works with the client's vision and offers great guidance. In our case, we were new to gardening, so Maureen both educated us about plants and helped us figure out what we liked. She helped us figure out our vision. She is delight to work with and knows landscape design very well.”
