“Aitken & Associates considered all of the elements we wished to include in the landscape of our home, together with the grading plan of our lot, and came up with a design that could accommodate our wishes. We have been enjoying the result for 10 years now, with my only regret being the things I changed on my own from the written design plan as we were executing, thinking I had just come up with "better" idea. Wrong! They know what they're doing, and you can be sure its been thought all the way through. Everyone in the office was great to work with, returning phone calls and emails in a timely manner, and showing up for scheduled appointments on time. Our design plan was done when they said it would be, and we went straight to the City to get our permits. Which brings up another thing: Aitken & Associates was clearly familiar with our City ordinances because upon review by the City, there was nothing in our landscape design plan that we couldn't get permitted. We were very pleased with Aitken & Associates.”

She was very efficient with our time, and remained very responsive once the work was complete, addressing any follow-up questions we had. “We were completely pleased with the outcome of our recent back yard landscape project, having utilized Natalian's high quality design skills. She really listened to what we wanted to accomplish during the initial consultations, and provided several plans to choose from: the final plans that emerged were exemplary. Natalain did a great job of coordinating the various contractors, from masonry to wood work to electrical to final installation, and the project coalesced perfectly. We are very pleased indeed with the final outcome, and give her much of the credit for truly A+ job.”

Endowed with oriental background with years of working experience in the west, Elaine has a very unique and artistic eye that I can rarely find in other designs's. Infused with her great taste, my yard turned into a piece of art work. Elaine kept the process clear and stayed communicative and responsive throughout the project. Before the project started, she collected my preference and listened patiently to my requests, and also shared her ideas and visions to me. “We found Kim after putting together a design book on houzz.com. Looking through the photos, we had chosen 4 of Kim's design photos completely by accident. We reached out to her and setup an appointment to get together. She is extremely professional, explained her services, what we could expect to pay and provided references and sample design schematics from other jobs. The thing that struck us right away is that she was walking our property identifying all the plants by their scientific names and could explain why each one was doing well or doing poorly. After hiring her, she took very detailed measurements, photos and ground samples. She look through the Houzz book we created, asked us questions about how we intended to use different aspects of our space and generally get a feel for what we liked and wanted. She came back with an initial design which we reviewed in person and the first draft was great. We had a few changes and she went off to make some changes, etc. She had researched everything about our property including local zoning set-back requirements! She was awesome and we're very pleased with the final design. We are currently getting bids for landscape builders to make our final vision come to life and look forward to showing the pictures of her amazing work when we're able to!”
