“Tan, the owner of Westland Design Ltd, is wonderful. He listened and really understood our need. Me dad has alzheimer's and had started wandering. Now with our beautiful enclosed and gated courtyard, he is safe and we are happy. My elderly parents sit and admire the open and interesting space for hours and the birdies come and bathe in our little water feature. If dad were to wake up confused in the night he can sit in his softly illuminated garden and find peace and tranquility. Tan and Doug and Lucas worked so hard to create a work of art for us, we are completely pleased and grateful. I now feel a deep friendship for Tan and hope he and his team and family will always be a part of ours. “We initially hired TKL-Design to do our garden in Crescent Beach BC in the form of a traditional English Perennial Style. He truly transformed the garden into a story-book with an inviting winding stone pathway meandering through beautiful gardens of flowers, shrubs and trees . It doesn't matter where you stand in the garden - the small as well as the large is exquisite and consistent. We are now building a new contemporary home in White Rock BC and once again have turned to Thomas Kyle - principal designer and owner of TKL-Design, for the landscaping. His ideas so far are perfect for the sight and our lifestyle. We are very impressed by his bold creativity, yet he knows when to hold back for the full impact as well. He is a true professional with all the knowledge of the trade. Both our architect as well as our builder couldn't be happier with our choice of using TKL-Design.”

“I hired Ryan threw a recommendation from Houston Landscapes who I hired threw Houzz to do some basalt stone work on my home. Jeremy from Houston Landscapes felt the project needed a eye for some new and fresh ideas for the ocean side of my home. We both met with Ryan who was an absolute pleasure to deal with and after our first consultation my wife and I decided to hire Ryan to get a new vision on the ocean side yard. Very shortly after Ryan came up with a few concepts that we then chose one from and he rendered drawings, exact depths, measurement and then a final 3D version. The end result of his vision was truly amazing. I would highly recommend Ryan and his company to anyone thinking of redoing any part of their homes, he is a true visionary and a great honest person to deal with.”

“Janet designed the foundation trees and shrubs for my new back yard and did the landscape design for my front yard. She was fun to work with because of her incredible knowledge and passion but also because she listened to what I wanted. Both my yards are lovely and I am so happy with them. Two years later I asked her to come back and give me some design ideas because I wasn't completely happy with the shrubs and perennials that I had added myself to the back yard. Again she was very helpful and enthusiastic and gave me some great design ideas for moving the plants around so that everything flowed and was in the right place. On both occasions she was able to work within my limited budget with lovely results. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs help with their yard and garden.”
