“Mrs. Anjali had created a unique design for our front yard. She worked diligently with us every step of this project because we did not know what we want, what would be appropriate for our climate zone and our particular location. She was very patient, understanding and kind. We appreciated that! She explained thoroughly the ins and outs of this project. We were particularly impressed with her knowlege of plants and flowers, it was fun to work with her. Our front yard has been outgrowing and was not taken care of for years. Mrs. Anjali turned it into a beautiful shrubs and flower bed. She took out some old bushes and trees, kept our favorite Japanese maple (which one couldn't even see) and incorporated it into her design. And we loved the choice of shrubs and flowers she made! One more thing to add --- she managed to stay on budget! She is a very resourceful designer.”

“I would highly recommend Kris for any landscape design project. We have a tricky sloped backyard. He created a beautiful and well thought out design incorporating both plant design and hardscaping. He was professional, fast, and very accommodating for specific requests and changes during the design process. Plus he knows a great deal about plants and how they will grow and look together depending on the look you want. My favorite thing is he has a community of the actual working landscapers who he happily recommends once you are ready to execute his designs. You can’t go wrong choosing Kris for your project.”

My husband and I are both architects and we had been trying to design the landscape for our home in the heart of historic Lexington MA. for a year. When we asked Melissa to help us, she promptly delivered a design that was sensitive to the traditional setting of Lexington's historic district and satisfied our spatial requests. The hard-scape is elegant and we have been enjoying the sequence of blooming plants since May. I am thrilled with Melissa's design and with her service. “We chose bp design to landscape our side and back yards after a house renovation. We have been very happy with results of the design which included a large amount of hardscape work (patio, steps, walkways), as well as many plants. Ms. Pantoja, head architect, worked with us closely to develop the plans, taking into consideration our wants, desires, and budget. She accompanied us to pick out the plants, and she was onsite for much of the hardscape work. We would recommend bp design highly.”

“Kristen designed a garden bed for my home. I came to first meeting with definite skills and preferences and needs/problems. Kristen listened and understood my questions, got to know my garden and me, and generated the design within a few weeks. The design had alternatives to considerate. She also hooked me up with pros to do tree removal and fireplace design. She was professional, upbeat and creative and easy/fun to work with. Seemed genuinely interested in my (small) project.”

“No one is better than Blade of Grass. Exceptional vision coupled with practical advice. Our backyard plan morphed from a simple "let's knock off the rotting deck" to a backyard redo replete with blue stone patio, field stone wall, irrigation system, tree removal and many new trees and plantings. The team worked hard under difficult conditions (no access for machinery, giant boulder to dig out), the job was done in a timely manner and the outcome surpassed my very high expectations. Tom and Pete were easy to work with, professional and fun. They listened to what we wanted and guided us on key plantings/trees. When a winter storm caused a tree to list heavily to one side, they came and replanted it - almost a year after the job. I am incredibly happy with our backyard transformation and highly recommend Blade.”
