“We are more than pleased with the work Martin did for us. We had just added a circular driveway to the front of the house and had 3 areas that required landscaping. I had a few ideas but I’ve never had a green thumb so wanted to get professional help. He responded quickly and was able to come by the next day. He not only listened to my ideas but helped expand them. He also was able to evaluate the soil and gave recommendations to improve it that we still use annually. “I've worked with Deanna and her team for a couple of years and have always been more than delighted with her suggestions and the results. At first I was reluctant to contact Garden Escapes because I was concerned that my project was too small for a professional landscaper. That concern was so wrong! She listened to my ideas, likes, and dislikes. It was also important to me that she did not want to scrap everything that I had done previously and install all new plantings. She worked with my Belgian blocks, ferns and a couple other plantings. Some were relocated and new plantings were installed. She also pushed me very gently to go outside my comfort area regarding lighting. I am thrilled with the results. In fact, in Spring 2015 I plan to have her redo the atrium area with E.P.Henry PavingStones. A final point that's also important to me -- Garden Escapes is a small local business.”
