“We reached out to Lis Eriksson to completely redesign and re-landscape our 3.6 acre garden in West Sussex. Looking for somebody that could translate our vision for the grounds and the unique property that it houses. The existing garden felt very alien to the house in an English cottage garden style whilst our house is a mid century modern remodel. We gave her a large complex brief including building a terrace (300sqm in the end) including a space for dining and cooking, a sundeck, large seating area with a fire pit, a wood fired hot tub, herb garden and additional gardens connecting the adjoining annex space of the house. Alongside 2 x 100sqm plus borders, planting 60 specimen trees an extended meadow and a nuttery. Not only did Lis produce beautiful visuals alongside her master and planting plans, but also helped us source materials, furniture etc. during covid. Managing numerous supply issues, still able to get each phase of the project completed with her flexible approach, attention to detail and in-depth design and architecture know how. All whilst providing a professional service and clear communication throughout. We are just about to embark on adding a pool to the garden which we now very much enjoy and look forward to working with Lis again.”

“Last summer Emma helped us create a brand new garden; including a play area, new beds and lawn and a detailed planting plan. Our brief was for a family-friendly, low maintenance garden with year-round colour and interest, that also attracted bees and butterflies, and that’s exactly what Emma delivered. She also bought all the plants and materials, and created a maintenance plan to help us keep the garden looking great all year round. Having completed the planting at the end of last summer, it was so exciting and rewarding to see the garden come to life this spring, with so many interesting and beautiful plants. Now the garden has truly become an extension of our living space, and everyone who sees it comments on how stunning it looks. We discussed a variety of bulbs , ferns , scrubs, and plants that would be appropriate together with a layout. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and I consider it excellent value.”

“We knew our garden needed a revamp, and we wanted it to be “grown-up” but still welcoming, but had few preconceived ideas. Not being gardeners ourselves, we didn’t have any plant knowledge but knew the styles we did and didn’t like. Peter, through relaxed discussion and an exchange of images, of gardens and plants, somehow managed to gauge the sort of thing we were hoping for. We were genuinely excited by Peter’s design when we saw it on paper and it was a pleasure to see the reality appearing gradually as the work progressed. We now have a garden we love and can be proud of – relaxed and elegant at the same time. Almost a year on, we still smile every time we look out of the window.
