“We engaged Amanda at Space Designs to come up with a landscaping design for our upcoming knock-down rebuild project on Sydney's northern beaches. Unlike a couple of other landscape designers we'd spoken to previously, her ideas were practical and sensible for our block and impending new home, while still being interesting and attractive. Apart from someone in their office being a bit over-zealous in chasing up the final payment the well before the design was finalised, they've been great to deal with. Their design cost was reasonable and Amanda was able to come and see us at short notice. Will also shortly be asking them for their recommendations re landscape contractors and are confident we can trust their judgement. Really looking forward to how it's going to turn out in real life!”

It was in much need of a make-over and was transformed into a beautiful sanctuary in which we use everyday and love to be out in it. From the very beginning Andrew listened to what we wanted and came up with a design that was space utilising, full of greenery, low maintenance, and most importantly something that reflected us and the environment we live in. “If you want a no non-sense, really professional landscaper who delivers quality within the budget and schedule, Jules and his apprentice, Ryan, are the team to choose. Jules is not just a landscaper who builds structures and grows plants. He can advise, help design and manage the subcontractors like a professional project manager. They have converted my bare and ugly land into a nice family friendly backyard and frontyard and we couldn't be happier. Always on time, advising us every step of the way and always leave the site neat and tidy. Can't go wrong with Tree of Life!”

“Fig Landscapes was our perfect choice to upgrade our existing garden. The brief was new paving and new tiles for the veranda as well as upgrading the existing garden for a french country look in an urban setting. From the outset Grant Boyle was professional, knowledgable and respectful of our needs. He and his team began and finished the job on time despite the weather. We sourced the stone from Eco outdoors and used recycled bricks for the paving. Reusing the existing colour scheme of white and green we added some Tuckaroo trees, an Olive tree, Gardenias, Liriope, Dietes and Dichondra for ground cover. We are delighted with the result and with Fig landscapes and look forward to enjoying the new growth in the garden.”

“In 2013 our backyard in Normanhurst had an outdated pool area which required major work. The pool needed resurfacing and tiling and the gardens surrounding the pool area required a total makeover. We wanted natural products around the pool so we went for sandstone and old bricks which suited the feel of the property. Outdoor Establishments were contracted to perform the work and did a brilliant job. The result is an area where we can relax, entertain and enjoy outside living. There are some photos on the Houzz website which can be found by searching outdoor establishments and looking for the Normanhurst project. Not only did we finish up with a backyard exceeding all our requirements but the process was painless due to the friendly workers involved. The sandstone walls around the pool are one of the highlights creating a natural relaxing oasis in our busy lives. Maintenance wise it is so much easier than before. We would not hesitate to recommend Outdoor Establishments for such work.”

“Oliver helped us design our outdoor space and turn it from a blank canvas into a gorgeous retreat area we use all the time. We hid the functional but ugly shed with a gorgeous blackbutt screen that double as a backdrop to our outdoor dining and entertaining area. We have a hot water outdoor shower that we use year around after surfing, a water feature, a gorgeous side path that ties in with the new driveway paving. We lounge on our back deck and day bed and enjoy looking out into our little tropical oasis, escaping the hustle and bustle of being in the heart of bondi beach. Oli gave great advice and was very efficient and completing the job for us. Oli was good at communicating throughout the project. Quality of work was excellent.”
