“Tan, the owner of Westland Design Ltd, is wonderful. He listened and really understood our need. Me dad has alzheimer's and had started wandering. Now with our beautiful enclosed and gated courtyard, he is safe and we are happy. My elderly parents sit and admire the open and interesting space for hours and the birdies come and bathe in our little water feature. If dad were to wake up confused in the night he can sit in his softly illuminated garden and find peace and tranquility. Tan and Doug and Lucas worked so hard to create a work of art for us, we are completely pleased and grateful. I now feel a deep friendship for Tan and hope he and his team and family will always be a part of ours. Which is another fact in his favour, he took me around to many different project sites and all the home owners I met were so pleased with their projects, even after many years. I highly recommend Tan and Westland Design Ltd.”

“Fronds&Friends is owned by the lovely Eryn. She did a full cleanup and redesign of our balcony deck. Decked it out with new plants that would flower or change colours throughout the seasons so there is always something that stands out. She cleaned up after the work and we are just so pleased.”

“I highly recommend Hyland Landscapes. We had multiple companies provide us with a quote for our backyard renovation and Hyland provided us with the most detailed quote and thorough plan. Their staff was on-time, professional, and very good at communicating during the project to help us get exactly what we envisioned for an end project. We have already recommended them to a few friends and they have followed up twice with us to see how we like the final product and check to see if any additional touch ups are needed. You will not be disappointed with these guys!”

“Linda has great vision and was able to accurately build what I could only vaguely describe. She is professional in her conduct, and completed my project on time and on budget. Her personality worked well with other contractors on site, and there were no problems working with tradespeople on site.I was happy to recommend her to friends needing her services, and they too were very pleased with the quality, and beauty, of her work. “I hired Take Root Gardens in March of 2014 for a total overhaul of our modest Vancouver backyard. Not only was the execution flawless, they added a lot of value in the design and planning stage, with some great suggestions that worked out really well. During the actual work, they were always right on time, took very good care of our property during the work, and cleaned up spotlessly, even going so far as to powerwash our deck, which was not part of the project. What stood out the most, was how much care they took, and how detail oriented they were. The overall quote was very reasonable, and they came in right on budget and on time. I would hire Ty & Matt again in a second and highly recommend them.”

“We initially hired TKL-Design to do our garden in Crescent Beach BC in the form of a traditional English Perennial Style. He truly transformed the garden into a story-book with an inviting winding stone pathway meandering through beautiful gardens of flowers, shrubs and trees . It doesn't matter where you stand in the garden - the small as well as the large is exquisite and consistent. We are now building a new contemporary home in White Rock BC and once again have turned to Thomas Kyle - principal designer and owner of TKL-Design, for the landscaping. His ideas so far are perfect for the sight and our lifestyle. We are very impressed by his bold creativity, yet he knows when to hold back for the full impact as well. He is a true professional with all the knowledge of the trade. Both our architect as well as our builder couldn't be happier with our choice of using TKL-Design.”

“Completed my backyard project in 2019 with the assistance of Taylor. The project included custom built BBQ, gardens, lighting and stonescaped areas. I appreciated the flawless way the project was handled. Taylor provided expertise in design, material selection, project budget and timelines. What I appreciated most was being able to see, through the design stage, what my backyard would ultimately look like. Taylor designed a beautiful backyard, which I am able to enjoy throughout the year.”

“We hired Botanica to do our front yard landscape design and installation, and we were so happy with the work that we hired them again the next year to do our backyard. We have a very unique pie-shaped lot, which made the design a lot more challenging than a typical lot shape. The Botanica team did a great job listening to our overall objectives, and translated that into a design that made the most of the space. Karin and Otto were very respectful of the fact that we had a specific budget for the project, and they worked within that budget. The installation crew was great - always professional, and very hard working. The work Botanica did really transformed our outdoor space, and we would highly recommend them.”

“Constance was just phenomenal. We wanted attempted to redesign our front yard last year on our own but were underwhelmed by the end result. Constance came in and listened to all of our ideas/wants/needs and found a wonderful solution to suit us without us having to completely remodel. She was very professional, thorough and knowledgeable. Also very reasonable rates with a quick turnaround. I highly recommend her!”
