“We used LGD for several projects, not least the design and building of our garden. The design process was painless, with expert advice from their lead designer on hand almost whenever we needed her. The build was complicated due to access through the house and parking issues; however, the work was of the highest expected standards, and the project management allowed us to take a step back and let the team get on with the work. Both the landscape team and designers were engaged and polite throughout.”

“We had a very small space with an odd shape and awkward levels and were at a bit of a loss as to how to deal with it. David was a marvel in how he cleverly teased out our 'wants' and 'needs' and distilled them into a fabulous design which we instantly fell in love with. He also project managed the works and his constant attention to the implementation and strong focus on quality and problem solving was much appreciated. David is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and hard working; and was always open to us making changes as we went along. “Josie and Nigel redesigned, built and replanted a small sheltered back garden, changing it from a dark mass of overgrown bushes and trees to a light , bright patio oasis. It has been a lovely, relaxing outdoor living room all summer that we have enjoyed being in almost daily. They took on board my ideas, using their knowledge and experience to enhance and improve them to the best effect. The building work was organised, efficient and clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a sensitively designed fresh look to their garden.”

“After 20+ years of living in the same house which had undergone numerous changes over the years, the garden was due a ‘makeover’ it had served us well as a family garden but our needs had changed (along with the ability to manage it) therefore time to look for an ‘expert’… Anthony Arnold of Emerging Landscapes stood out from others with the time he took to listen and understand our needs, wishes and not least, budget constraints. His approach is collaborative, very important as we wished to retain a few existing features which he needed to incorporate in the design. He explained and involved us in the design process along the way, from detailed site survey (we have a terraced garden, so not an easy task) concept drawing to final plan. He is innovative and creative and his desire to create a beautiful space that answers our needs and we can enjoy for many more years with minimum maintenance was very apparent. Our enthusiasm for the garden has been re-ignited.”

I feel so comfortable and cosy in my new space and the colour scheme fits very well. My living room is always a hot topic when friends come round. “Moved to new house where garden had been totally neglected by previous tenants. Paul did an excellent job of strimming and cutting back the lawn, and expertly cut borders either side. Nine months later we now have shrubs, bushes, a flat lawn and even tomatoes! Highly recommend Paul for his professional workmanship and excellent advice.”
