“We appointed Pehrsson Scott to carry out the design and the construction of our town garden in Hertfordshire. We found Henry and the team to be very responsive and engaging at all times. They listened to our brief and involved us in the design process ensuring we understood every detail and were happy with the design before signing off each stage. They gave us a clear understanding of the costs from the outset and were always approachable and pleasant to deal with once the work began. “Elen designed a plan for a small plot that was effective at utilizing the existing plants, giving a simple and elegant finish to a previously haphazard garden. in addition, the planting plan she provided solved the problem of a very difficult water logged clay soil. “We knew our garden needed a revamp, and we wanted it to be “grown-up” but still welcoming, but had few preconceived ideas. Not being gardeners ourselves, we didn’t have any plant knowledge but knew the styles we did and didn’t like. Peter, through relaxed discussion and an exchange of images, of gardens and plants, somehow managed to gauge the sort of thing we were hoping for. We were genuinely excited by Peter’s design when we saw it on paper and it was a pleasure to see the reality appearing gradually as the work progressed. We now have a garden we love and can be proud of – relaxed and elegant at the same time. Almost a year on, we still smile every time we look out of the window. The garden has remained a wonderful focal point throughout the winter months, thanks to Peter's thoughtful planting, and with Spring not far off, we are looking forward to the bulbs Peter introduced us to putting in an appearance.”

“A fantastic team with great working ethos. Theo came up with the initial design and adjusted where needed and was very knowledgeable with current trends and themes that are representative of the current markets. He created the layout and plantage of the garden which was a complete makeover and transformation. Ethan is incredibly talented at putting the whole piece together and paid attention to the finer details which ultimately ended up creating a masterpiece for my family. “Vicki is an excellent garden designer. She really listened to the brief I gave her and delivered an exceptionally beautiful garden which is easy to maintain but has all the elements which we requested. It has year round colour and interest - which was not easy to achieve considering that we have really poor soil. She never minded if I vetoed a plant suggestion that she had made and always came up with several more possibilities. We get so much pleasure from our garden now and Vicki continues to provide advice and help. I can't rate her highly enough!”

“Catherine did a great job from beginning to end. I needed to completely change the back and front gardens. She had great ideas on what would work and what would not, how to deliver the look I wanted and how to keep it within budget. I couldn't be more happy with the results. Both gardens look great - the neighbours have all commented on the front garden. She worked well with the builder who did the landscaping. She's also been happy to replace a plant that died and fix an irrigation pipe someone else broke. I cant believe how many plants I have. Given the money available for plants, I expected a small number of small plants, but the garden is full of lovely plants and it looks well established after only 3 months. Every few weeks some new plants come into flower so I think there is a good mix of plants to have flowers most of the year. I would happily recommend Catherine Rampton.”
