“I am so happy to recommend Lori and Michael from 1 Design Group. We hired them to totally remake our small backyard and we’re completely blown away. Them and their entire team are honest, hardworking, brilliant at design and execution and complete experts at their craft — the total package. We’ve worked with contractors who were awful, but this was such a wonderful experience, start to finish. Plus, we became friends along the way. They really are just incredible people. Oh! And they easily met the deadline we had in place for a huge baby shower we’re throwing. “Eric and his crews were terrific to work with. We had a complicated existing layout with a terraced back yard, a lower garden we inherited from the prior owner that ate up any potential play space for our 3 littles, decaying retaining walls, and a pool deck that needed a refresh. We were merely hoping to reclaim our yard, but ended up with what feels like an extra "outdoor room" and totally revitalized spaces that are modern, functional, and absolutely inspiring. Most importantly, Eric was exceedingly professional. When problems arose (as they inevitably will), Eric brought clear communication and, most importantly, multiple solutions to the table, and working through them was never an issue. He knows his stuff! Due to budget, we ended up splitting our project into a few phases, and we will not hesitate in the least to come back to Peola for the rest of our work.”

“Hi Glenn, I love your style of design. I find it very tranquil, sophisticated and well thought out. I love the multi-colored teal tiles. I used a glass multi-colored teal tile for my pool top border, the same tile will be a full wall backsplash in my open-air kitchen, here in my Costa Rican house, I will also tie it in on the back wall of my surf shower. “Recently worked with Aaron and Hadiza on pool area landscaping. They took what had become overgrown and unattractive and made it enjoyable once again. From initial interview to determine what look we were striving for up for to the last stone being placed, could not have asked for more. *Kept water conservation in mind when discussing plant options. *Took into account that we can see this area from the several walls of windows that look out until the pool, providing color and decorative art. *After each step of the working process they left area clean and neat Probably most impressive was that as I changed my mind or had questions on a couple of things during the job, they responded immediately to emails and text. It was a real pleasure working with both Aaron and Hadiza. Can't wait for them to take on the front yard as our next project.”

“Had our backyard transformed with the help of Micheal. Very creative guy and workmanship is excellent. Maybe takes longer than estimated but end result is good. We installed turf, raised planters and built in seating. Extended patio with a roof to match the existing patio. Added a rain curtain water feature and low maintainance plants.”
