“Garden View did an excellent job on designing and building my large outdoor kitchen. It included a barbecue, burners, fireplace, large counter areas, and stone base and pillars. He built a shade structure off the house and used pavers for the floor areas. Mark and his staff was delightful to work with. I have contacted them many times for additional purchases and minor tweeks, and they were as helpful as when they were constructing my kitchen.”

“We are extremely pleased with the entire process of working with Sacred Space Garden Design. Karen created a design that captured exactly what we wanted in our front and back yard landscaping project. Omar executed on the plan and added in so many thoughtful details that were not anticipated in the beginning but were the extra little things that turned a project from good to great. Omar and Karen's employees were always courteous and treated us with a high level of respect even stopping what they were doing when our young children had to walk by just to make sure they stayed safe. In certain situations, my wife and I added additional ideas and Karen and Omar were always receptive to our ideas and worked them into the final product. Karen and Omar are so customer focused and professional to work with it made the whole process something we look back on with a smile. We actually miss the crew being around the house now that the work is done (so we have hired them on to be our full time gardeners!).”

“We came to JMS Design from a referral from our interior designer. We started this project with a dirt lot and everything was built from ground up. We wanted an east coast feeling to our landscape with areas that we could enjoy as well as space for the kids to play. This was achieved through the pool and knot garden areas. Also the entertainment pool house has been a big hit with the outdoor tv and adjacent barbecue being used regularly. The installation went smoothly and we enjoy the plantings and bluestone and brick paving.”

“Redid both front and back yard vegetation to be drought tolerant. No grass in front at all. Parkway and yard all trees and plants from New Zealand. Wonderful to work with and after a few years the yards are all grown in and many compliments given. Nancy is easy to work with and very reasonable.”

“Beth provided a wonderful landscape design and creation program for our home. Taking our tastes, budget and timing into account, she came up with designs that were creative and realistic. She oversaw the job from beginning to end and was always available to answer questions or to help make last minute changes without a problem. Everything that was supposed to be done was completed as imagined and on schedule. Beth was not only exceptionally professional and ethical, but very enjoyable to work with. “Aaron's team did a fantastic job transforming our muddy, uncomfortable backyard into an inviting space we truly enjoy. The rear of our property sits under a dense canopy and was unusable for our daughter and dog. The design Aaron & Hadiza envisioned met all our needs, providing multiple seating areas and blending the existing architecture with new elements, all while using a naturalistic but low maintenance planting scheme. We now have a beautiful, modern and safe space for our daughter to play and comfortably entertain 20 guests. The construction process went smoothly. The crew was efficient and used high quality materials while staying within budget. When labor costs exceeded the budget, there was open communication and we were able to find a middle ground. “Our original plan was to meet with Kathryn and just pick her brain. Several hours later she had redesigned our entire front and side yard. We were bowled over with her professional demeanor, attention to detail and wonderful laugh. She listened to what we wanted, paid attention to our style and came up with a plan that was not only beautiful on its own but will absolutely highlight our home's unique architecture (its a 1914 Craftsman). Later when we saw some of the other more impressive projects that she had done we realized how talented she is. There is nothing she can't do! The real proof in the pudding was when we went to a local nursery to pick up our plants. Upon hearing that Kathryn was our designer the employee sighed and said "I wish I had a Kathryn Rue designed yard". Now that's an endorsement.”
