“DEC installed wood flooring and baseboards throughout my home. Prior to installation the team grinded the concrete floors applied adhesive and poured self leveling throughout the entire ( excluding restrooms) 2700 ft house. Once that process was complete they installed the flooring and baseboards. All work was done very clean with attention to detail. They also addressed my concerns throughout the installation process. The floor has no soft areas or bounce areas due to the self-leveling that was placed prior to installation. Yes self leveling process is pricey however your end result is excellent. I am extremely happy that we went through the correct process. I have spoken with other people that have the same type of flooring and did not do this process and have bounce and soft areas. We are pleased with our final product and are happy with DEC on not cutting any corners on the installation.”

“I was running around from one store to another looking for the right floor that would be ideal for my house and style, all what i could find was low quality or way above my budget. “Mark was amazing, professional and on time. I had previously worked with other contractors over the years and was truly disappointed with the time lines promised and the level of service. I was referred to Mark from a friend and he came over and showed me a variety of samples. He spent an hour with me going over different samples and costs. He was honest and did not overpromise. I wanted a particular sample and he called to check the availability and told me that it would not be in stock for three weeks. But, then he showed me another similar sample that was available immediately. I wanted to have my floors ready for a family event so I picked the other color. His crew showed up and worked diligently. They were clean, professional and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend GF Flooring.”

“Our 1930 Balboa Island house had been carpeted in the 1960's. We wanted to restore the original wood floors and were working against a very tight timeline for our first season as a vacation rental. Michael Kamps made certain the job was done right and personally located hard-to-match stock for a repair. The job was done well, on time, and at a lower price than the two other bids I received on the job. I recommend Kamps Island Flooring be given consideration for your projects and intend to have them refinish our wood floors when that time comes.”
