“Mike worked with us to refinish our downstairs floors. We decided to replace some tile and carpet with hardwood in several rooms. Mike was incredibly professional, patient and calm in helping us understand the process and make decisions. Mike went out of his way to show us many color combinations so we would be comfortable with our final decision. Mike was available to respond to many inquiries throughout each step. He is very kind, personable and his employees did excellent and fast work. We found his rates were very reasonable. We highly recommend Floors by VAL and hope to work with Mike again in the future!”

Sand, stain, and poly. Job took longer than any of us expected, but he didn't rush or cut any corners. He explained the unforeseen issues, and took care of them. “I moved into a co-op and didn't realize how much of a hassle it is to get ANYTHING done. But Freddy of NOVART was a huge help! After we agreed on what I wanted renovated in the apartment (fully renovate the kitchen and bathroom), he took over, gave me suggestions and made sure everything was up to the standard requested by the co-op management. He even was patient enough to work with the electrician and plumber that the co-op management made me hire since it was who "they" trusted.. he had to teach them what to do... The work was done quickly and professionally and even when I changed my mind during renovation, he never hesitated to work with me and gave me feedback on what we should and shouldn't do. The work was finished quickly even in the midst of the pandemic and overall I am very satisfied with the work done. No complaints and even though he offered that he'd come and fix anything that I'm not satisfied with, I haven't had the need to call him since everything was done well.”

“Dmitry and his team did an excellent job installing our floors, and were very professional and pleasant to work with. The floors were both nailed and glued, as the floor manufacturer had recommended. The installers paid great attention to detail, so that even planks that went around round columns were airtight. He’s done multiple apartments in our building and they all look great. If we ever need to install floors again, we will definitely go with Dmitry.”
